South Point High School, Ballygunge Place

South Point High School, an English medium and co-educational school, was established in 1954 by the South Point Education Society. Earlier, South Point High School was associated with the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Now, the school appears under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It offers education from Class 6 to Class 12 and provides PCM, PCB, commerce and arts streams to Senior Secondary. It also holds various events like science exhibitions, sports day, arts and crafts, workshops, scouts, guides and N.C.C., annual day celebrations and school exhibitions.
