About NBSE HSSLC 2019

NBSE 12th Board exam is conducted every year by Nagaland Board of School Education. The exam of NBSE HSSLC 2019 will be conducted in March 2019, the result for which will be released in May 2019. Approximately 15,000 students register for appearing in the HSSLC examination for all three streams – Arts, Commerce, and Science. The exam is conducted at more than 50 centres across Nagaland. Once the result of NBSE HSSLC result 2019 will be declared, students can check it by using their roll number. The facility of accessing the result via SMS has also been provided by the exam conducting authority to the students. The online result  is provisional and contains detail such as candidate’s name, subject-wise marks, roll number, qualifying status, grades and so on. Students can collect their original mark sheets in person from their respective schools after the result is declared online. Candidates can apply for verification in case of any discrepancy the NBSE class 12 result 2018 within prescribed time lines along with the payment of the requisite fee.

NBSE HSSLC 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The students appearing for the NBSE HSSLC 2019 examination must meet certain eligibility criteria determined by the exam conducting authority. The following are the eligibility criteria of appearing in NBSE HSSLC 2019:  

  • Students must have passed their 11th standard.
  • The institution in which the students have studied must be affiliated to NBSE.
  • Students must have 80% attendance in class 12th.
  • There must not be any dues.
  • Only those students can appear in the NBSE HSSLC 2019 examination whose applications are accepted by the exam conducting authority and who receive their respective admit card.


NBSE HSSLC 2019 Preparation Tips


1. Students must cover all the topics mentioned in the syllabus.

2.Clear all doubts by contacting the teacher concerned about the topics which are difficult.

3. Must make a time table that includes each and every subjects.

4. Students must practice from the previous years’ NBSE 12th question papers and sample papers available in the official website in order to improve speed and accuracy.

5. Short notes must also be made while studying which will help the candidates at the time of revision.

6. To analyze the preparation level, students can also go for group studies.


NBSE HSSLC 2019 Exam Pattern

In the exam of NBSE HSSLC, students sit for six external subjects, including one additional subject and three subjects which are internally assessed. For all the streams, English is a compulsory subject. Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies are compulsory for Commerce Stream while Chemistry and Physics are compulsory subjects for the students of Science stream. Subjects which does not have practical will be held for 100 marks whereas all the subjects with practical papers will include theory for 70 marks and practicals of 30 marks. Papers which have internal/project work will consist of internals of 10 marks and theory of 90 marks.

NBSE HSSLC 2019 Result

NBSE will announce NBSE class 12th 2019 result in online mode in the month of May 2019. Students can go through and download their NBSE HSSLC result 2019 by filling in their roll number in the provided field. The result of NBSE class 12 includes candidate’s name, subject-wise marks, roll number, and qualifying status. Students can also access their result via SMS. In order to access the result, students must type NBSE12<space>roll number and send it to 54242. NBSE, after receiving the text message, will send detailed result consisting of subject wise marks of the candidates. NBSE HSSLC result 2018 available online will not be considered as original. NBSE will issue original mark sheets which must be collected by the candidates from their respective schools and produce their original admit cards.
