NBSE HSSLC resultNBSE HSSLC 2018 - Nagaland Board of School Education conducts NBSE 12th Board exams every year. NBSE HSSLC 2018 was conducted from March 8 to 29 and the result for the same has been released on May 18, 2018. Around, 15,281 students had registered for the HSSLC examination (Arts-11339, Commerce-1360, Science-2582) this year which was conducted at 54 provisional centres across the state. Candidates will be able to check NBSE HSSLC result 2018 using their roll number. NBSE has also provided the facility of accessing the result via SMS. The result that is declared online is provisional and contains details such as candidate’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, grades, qualifying status and so on. After online declaration of result, the Board will issue original mark sheets to candidates which students can collect in person by visiting their respective schools. In case of any discrepancies in the NBSE class 12 result 2018, candidates can apply for verification within prescribed timelines and by paying the requisite fee. NBSE HSSLC 2018 - Datesheet

NBSE released the final timetable of NBSE 12th Board 2018 on January 20, 2018. The exam was held from March 8 to 29, 2018. NBSE HSSLC Result 2018

NBSE has announced NBSE class 12th 2018 result online on May 18, 2018. Students can download NBSE HSSLC result 2018 using their roll number in the appropriate field. NBSE class 12 result will include candidate’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks and qualifying status among others. The result can also be accessed via SMS. To do so, students have to type NBSE12<space>roll number and send it to 54242. Upon receiving the text message, NBSE will send the detailed result, including subject wise marks to candidates via SMS. NBSE HSSLC result 2018 which will be available online is provisional and will not be treated as original. The Board will issue original mark sheets to candidates soon after online declaration of result. To obtain the same, they have to visit their respective schools and produce their original admit cards.

NBSE HSSLC 2018 - Verification of Marks

Errors in mark sheet or pass certificate and requests for re-scrutiny can be submitted to the Board via the school in which a candidate has studied in. Candidates can apply for re-scrutiny within 15 days from the online declaration of result i.e May 18. Request for re-scrutiny requires a candidate to attach their original copy of mark-sheet, admit card, pass certificate (if passed) and the requisite fee. In the application form, candidates must mention their phone number. Result of re-scrutiny will be announced in June end. Request for rectification of errors can be submitted within 30 days from the publication of Result Gazette for rectification. The concerned institution will be intimated regarding any change in marks/ grades through an authorised official of the Board. While applying for re-scrutiny, students can also request for photocopies of answer scripts by paying the prescribed fee. NBSE HSSLC 2018 - Passing marks and grading system

 

NBSE follows a relative grading on a nine-point scale for awarding grades to candidates in NBSE HSSLC. The grading system depends on candidates overall performance per subject. Candidates scoring 40% or more in each subject are awarded grades A+, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 depending on the performance of all candidates in a particular subject. The details of marks required to clear the exam are mentioned below:

  • 33 marks in subjects with 100 external marks

  • 30 marks and 3 marks separately in subjects with 90 external and 10 internal/ project work

  • 21 marks in theory and 12 marks in practical separately for subjects having practical, including Environmental Education

  • 165 aggregate out of 500 marks.

NBSE HSSLC 2018 - Subjects/Pattern

Students appearing for NBSE HSSLC have to sit for six external subjects, inclusive of one additional subject and three internally assessed subjects. English is a compulsory subject for all the streams. Economics, Accountancy and Business Studies are compulsory for Commerce Stream whereas Physics and Chemistry are compulsory subjects for the Science stream students. Subjects without practical will be held for 100 marks while subjects with practical will have 70 marks for theory and 30 marks for practical. Papers with internal/ project work will consist of 10 marks for internals and 90 marks allotted to theory. 

NBSE Class 12 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates have to clear their 11th standard in order to be eligible for appearing NBSE HSSLC exam. They must have studied their 12th class in an institution affiliated to the Board with 80% attendance. Those having Students must have cleared all dues along with the examination fee. Only students whose applications are accepted by the board and who received their admit cards were allowed to sit for NBSE HSSLC 2018. 

About NBSE Board

Nagaland Board of State Education was set up on November 15, 1973. The Board started functioning from October 1, 1974 and is responsible for secondary examination operations of the state including conducting 10th and 12th Board exams, declaring their results and preparing the syllabus among others. NBSE is composed of ex-officio members, members nominated by the Government and co-opted members.
