About NBSE HSSLC 2020

NBSE HSSLC board exams are conducted every year by the Nagaland Board of School Education. Approximately 15,000 students register for appearing in the HSSLC examination for all three streams – Arts, Commerce, and Science. The exam is conducted at more than 50 centres across Nagaland. 

  • Students must complete the NBSE HSSLC syllabus on time. This will enable them to revise and clear all the doubts within the specific time.
  • The NBSE HSSLC exams 2020 will be conducted from February 13 to March 4, 2020. 
  • Students can refer to the NBSE HSSLC time table in order to know the exam date and timing and prepare accordingly.
  • The duration of the NBSE HSSLC exams will be 3 hours per paper.
  • Students are advised to solve the NBSE HSSLC question papers and know the exam pattern and the important topics asked in the exams. This will let them know the difficulty level of the NBSE HSSLC exams 2020.
  • NBSE 12th result will be released on May 2, 2020, tentatively. Students can check their result using their roll number. The facility of accessing the result via SMS is also provided by the board.
  • The online NBSE HSSLC result will be provisional and contain details such as candidate’s name, subject-wise marks, roll number, qualifying status, grades and so on. 
  • Students can collect their original mark sheets in person from their respective schools after the result is declared online. 
  • Students can apply for the verification in case of any discrepancy in the NBSE class 12 result 2020. The request for verification/revaluation has to be done within prescribed time along with the payment of the requisite fee.

NBSE HSSLC 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Students appearing for the NBSE HSSLC exams 2020 must meet certain eligibility criteria determined by the exam conducting authority. The following are the eligibility criteria of students appearing in NBSE HSSLC exams 2020.

  • Students must have passed their 11th standard.
  • The institution in which the students have studied must be affiliated to NBSE.
  • Students must have 80% attendance in class 12th.
  • There must not be any dues.
  • Only those students can appear in the NBSE HSSLC exams 2020 whose applications are accepted by the exam conducting authority and who receive their respective admit card.

NBSE HSSLC 2020 Preparation Tips

1. Students must cover all the topics mentioned in the syllabus.

2. Clear all doubts by contacting the teacher concerned about the topics which are difficult.

3. They must make a time table that includes each and every subject.

4. Students are advised to practise the previous years’ NBSE 12th question papers and sample papers available on the official website in order to improve speed and accuracy.

5. Short notes must also be made while studying which will help candidates at the time of revision.

6. To analyze the preparation level, students can also go for group studies.

NBSE HSSLC 2020 Exam Pattern

In the NBSE HSSLC exams 2020, students appear for six external subjects, including one additional subject and three subjects which are internally assessed.

  • For all the streams, English is a compulsory subject. 
  • Accountancy, Economics, and Business studies are compulsory for commerce stream while Chemistry and Physics are compulsory subjects for the students of science stream. 
  • Subjects which does not have practical exams will be held for 100 marks whereas all the subjects with practical papers will include theory for 70 marks and practicals of 30 marks. 
  • Papers which have internal/project work will consist of the internals of 10 marks and theory of 90 marks. 

NBSE HSSLC question papers are available to download in the form of pdf files on the official website. 

  • Candidates should practice these question papers regularly to be familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme, and typology of questions. 
  • NBSE 12th question papers also aid the students to know the difficulty level of exam.
  • By using these question papers, candidates can analyze their preparation level and they will gain confidence for the exams.

NBSE HSSLC result 2020 will be released in the online mode on May 2, 2020, tentatively. 

  • Students need to enter their roll number to check the NBSE 12th result 2020.
  • The result of NBSE class 12 will include the candidate’s name, subject-wise marks, roll number, and qualifying status. 
  • Students can also access their result via SMS. In order to access the result through SMS, students must type NBSE12<space>roll number and send it to 54242. 
  • After receiving the text message, NBSE will send detailed result consisting of subject wise marks of the candidates.
  • NBSE HSSLC online result 2020 will not be considered as original. NBSE will issue original mark sheets which must be collected by the students from their respective schools.
