Level 1 Marking Scheme IMO 2025-26

The stage 2 exam pattern and IMO syllabus are the same as the stage 1 exam format. It must be noted that only Classes 3 to 12 are eligible to take this exam. To pass the exam to get a high IMO score, look over the level 1 and level 2 exam patterns in the table below.

• SOF conducts the International Mathematics Olympiads at two levels.
• Students who pass the first-level exam are then called up for the second-level exam.
• Only the first level is organised for students in Class 1st and 2nd.
• The level one exam for classes 1–4 consists of 35 multiple-choice questions.
• On the other hand, 50 objective-type questions are asked in the case of classes 5th to 12th. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes.
• The medium of both papers is English.
