How to check the IMO Result?

Students can check their SOF IMO 2025-26 results online using the steps below or collect them directly from their school, along with their Student Performance Report (SPR).

1. Go to the official website: sofworld.org.

2. Look for the “Results” section on the homepage.

3. Select SOF IMO 2025-26 from the dropdown.

4. Enter the full name, mobile number, email address and country name to access the Maths Olympiad results.

5. View and download the IMO result scorecard, save or print it for future use.

The Student Performance Report (SPR) is a detailed document provided in SOF exams to every student who participates in the IMO. Rather than just giving a score, it shows detailed performance to understand mathematical strengths and weaknesses. It is divided into four to six sections:

Forgot IMO Roll Number? Know What to Do

If students have forgotten their SOF IMO roll number. They can retrieve it using the following methods:

The easiest way is to reach out to the school teacher or SOF school coordinator. Schools maintain a record of students’ roll numbers and can quickly provide the correct details.

The roll number is clearly mentioned on the SOF IMO admit card issued before the examination. If the candidate has a soft or hard copy, refer to it.

The SOF IMO roll number follows a fixed format, which helps in identifying it:

• School Code

• Class

• Section

• Student’s roll number

Example:
DL/1234/06/015
Here, DL/1234 is the school code, 06 indicates the class, and 015 is the student’s roll number.

Using this format, students can try to recall or verify their roll number with the help of their school.

If a candidate has appeared in any other SOF Olympiads earlier, the roll number format is similar. They can refer to past admit cards or certificates.

As a last option, students or parents can contact the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) helpdesk through the official website and provide details such as name, class, and school to retrieve the roll number.

What after the IMO Result 2025-26?

• SOF Level 2 exam date: Scheduled for February 8, 2026 (for most regions) and February 15, 2026 (for Maharashtra).

• SOF Level 2 Preparation: If students have qualified, they should start practising with "Achievers Section" questions from previous years, as they carry the highest weightage.
