CBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2025

The CBSE Class 12 syllabus includes subjects from science, arts, and commerce streams. Earlier, the CBSE board reduced topics from most of the chapters of each subject.

For Class 12 students, approximately 39 languages are there, out of which students have to pick any two for their board exams. Apart from these, around 31 elective subjects are in the syllabus, and students have to pick three out of these. Students can also choose two additional subjects for their exams. Chemistry Practicals: Study of the effect of different temperatures on the activity of salivary amylase, Study of the presence of suspended particulate matter in the air at 2 different sites, Changes in Qualitative Analysis: CO₂⁺and NO₃ added. As₃⁺ removed.

For Class 11 students, there are approximately 39 language subjects, out of which students have to pick any two for annual exams.
