For the academic year 2025-26, the UP Board Intermediate model papers 2026 have been released. Students appearing for the UPMSP 12th exams can easily understand the exam pattern by solving the model papers.
The written papers for UPMSP 12th theory exams will be conducted from February 18 to March 12, 2026. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes, inclusive of an extra 15 minutes of reading time for the question paper. The theory papers will carry a weightage of 100 and 70 marks (for subjects with practical components), respectively. There will be a total of 9 questions in the UP Board 12th Maths paper.
The first question section will contain 10 MCQ and very short answer questions for 1 mark each at the beginning of the question paper.
There will be eight 2-mark questions in the next section, followed by another section having nine questions of 5 marks each.
The long answer questions will carry 8 marks each, and there will be a total of six such questions.

The UP Board 12th Chemistry paper requires students to attempt all questions, with marks specified alongside each question. Numerical problems must include all calculation steps, and answers should be precise and to the point. Where necessary, graphical representations should be provided to support the answers.
The theory paper for the UPMSP 12th Chemistry paper will consist of 70 marks in total.
Students will have 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete the paper.
In the UP Board 12th Biology paper, students will be given 15 minutes at the beginning to read the question paper. All questions are compulsory, and the marks for each question will be specified alongside. Answers should be supported with labelled diagrams wherever necessary.
The UP Board 12th Bio paper will carry a weightage of 70 marks in total. 30 marks will be allotted for the practical/internal assessment.
Students will get 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete the paper.
In the UP Board 12th Commerce (Bookkeeping and Accounting) paper, students will be given 15 minutes at the beginning to read the question paper. All questions will be compulsory to attempt, with marks specified alongside each.
Questions 1 to 10 will be multiple-choice; questions 11 to 20 require very short answers (approximately 30 words each), questions 21 to 26 require short answers (approximately 100 words each), and questions 27 to 30 require detailed answers.
Students will have 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete the Commerce paper.

The UP Board 12th History paper will be divided into five sections. Section A will contain 10 multiple-choice questions, Section B will include 5 very short answer questions, Section C will have 6 short answer questions, Section D will contain 3 detailed answer questions, and Section E will consist of questions related to historical dates and maps.
All questions will be compulsory, and the marks for each question will be specified alongside. Students must carefully maintain the word limit and write their answers accordingly.
The total marks for the History paper will be 100, and students will have 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete the paper.
The UP Board 12th Geography paper will be for 3 hours and 15 minutes, with a maximum of 70 marks.
Students will be given 15 minutes at the beginning to read the question paper. All questions will be compulsory. Questions 1 to 8 will be multiple-choice, questions 9 to 16 will be very short answer questions, questions 17 to 22 will be short answer questions, and questions 23 and 24 will be long answer questions. Questions 25 and 26 will be related to maps.
