The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has released the revised ICSE 2025 syllabus for Class 10. There are changes in just English. Students can download the latest updated syllabus of Class 10 ICSE 2025 from the official website, cisce.org. ICSE Class 10 syllabus PDF 2024-25 is available below for English, Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and other subjects.

Subject-wise ICSE 10th Syllabus 2025
Students can go through the complete ICSE syllabus Class 10 which is provided in the following section. ICSE 10th Syllabus 2025 for English
English exam includes two papers namely, English Language & Literature. Both papers comprise 100 marks each including 80 marks for theory and 20 marks for internal assessment. Students have to solve each paper in 2 hours' duration. Check the ICSE Class 10 English language and literature syllabus below-
Paper 1- English Language
In Paper 1, there will be 5 types of questions-
- 300-350 words composition to evaluate the student's ability to describe, narrate, report and present ideas. The correct usage of punctuation, syntax, grammatical accuracy and spelling will also be assessed.
- Write a formal or informal letter with the correct format and the body of the letter with emphasis on appropriate vocabulary etc.
- Write an e-mail or short notice based on the provided information.
- Unseen prose passage- Students have to answer the asked questions by reading the provided passage in about 500 words. They will be required to show an understanding of the words/phrases in the context in which they have been used.
- Short answer type questions to evaluate candidates' knowledge of functional grammar, structure and English usage.

In this section, questions will be asked from the prescribed textbooks of Drama, Prose and Poetry-

ICSE 10th Syllabus 2025 for Maths
There will be one paper of two and a half hours duration carrying 80 marks. Internal Assessment shall carry 20 marks. The paper will be divided into two sections, Section I (40 marks), and Section II (40 marks)
There will be 7 units in the ICSE Class 10 Maths Syllabus 2025. Students must prepare every topic of the Maths ICSE Class 10 syllabus 2025 to score well.

ICSE 10th Syllabus 2025 for Biology
There will be one written paper of two hours duration of 80 marks and an Internal Assessment of practical work carrying 20 marks. Biology is a theoretical examination where a student's retaining ability will be tested. They have to memorize several facts and nomenclature to qualify for the exam with good marks.

Apart from going through the ICSE syllabus 2025 Class 10, students can go through the ICSE 10th exam pattern of all the subjects mentioned in the following table. The marks distribution is segregated as per the groups of the subjects.

How to prepare for ICSE Class 10 Exams 2025?
