AISSEE 2026: Admit Card (Out), Exam Date, Result, Selection Process

The NTA will publish the AISSEE 2027 results for the written exam in February 2027. Students can check the result on the official website by entering their application form number and password. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the e-counselling round and then a medical examination round.

The final merit list of selected candidates is expected to be published in May 2027. The merit list will contain the candidates' roll numbers and the document verification schedule.  

How to check Sainik School Result 2027?

1. First of all, visit the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/.
2. Then, click on the link that says Candidate login window.
3. Enter the application number & password and submit it.
4. On the dashboard, click on the link of the result given under the section of quick links.
5. Sainik School result 2027 will be displayed on the screen. 
6. Take a screenshot or printout for further reference.

Sainik School Exam Eligibility for Class 6th- Boys/Girls who are studying in Class V in a recognised school and whose age is between 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2027, are eligible to apply.

Sainik School Exam Eligibility for Class 9th- Boys and Girls who have passed the Class VIII exam from a recognised school, aged between 13 and 15 years as of March 31, 2027. The candidate should have been born between April 01, 2012, and March 31, 2014.

Sainik schools across India follow specific Sainik school reservation criteria as mentioned below:

The National Testing Agency will release the Sainik School application form 2027 in October 2026. Students or their parents will be able to fill out the Sainik School application form online at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/ and nta.ac.in. The application fee for the Sainik School is Rs. 800 for the general and defence categories, while it is Rs. 650 for the SC/ST category. 

Steps to fill out the online admission form for Sainik School are given below:

• Candidates will have to begin with the Sainik School registration process. Visit the website at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/ or nta.ac.in 

• Check the 'Latest News' section.

• Click on ‘AISSEE 2027 Registration open (Click Here)’. 

• On the left side, click on 'New Candidate Register Here'

• Scroll down, click on the check box and then click on the 'Click here to Proceed' button.

• Fill in your requested details.

• A system-generated application number will be sent to the candidate's email address and phone number.

• Candidates can use the system-generated Application number to log in and check the AISSEE form status 2027.

• Fill in all the personal information and details asked in the application form for AISSEE 2027 carefully. Click on the ‘Submit’ button. Upload the official documents/certificates, being mindful of the size dimensions and the format in which they are asked to be uploaded.

• Click on the ‘Submit’ button. It will take you to the payment gateway page. Select the payment method from the given options on the website. Pay the required fee online.

• After successful payment of the fee, a confirmation page will appear. Candidates must take a printout of the same for future reference.

Documents required for filling out the AISSEE Application Form 2027

• Scanned images of the Candidate’s Photograph (file size: 10 kb - 200 kb) in JPG/JPEG format
• Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
• Candidate’s thumb impression. (file size 3 kb -30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format. 
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Domicile Certificate
• Caste/ Community/ Category Certificate
• Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for Ex-servicemen, as applicable.
• The size of the scanned copy of the certificates should be between 50 kb to 300 kb.

The National Testing Agency prescribes the exam pattern of the Sainik School admission test. As per AISSEE exam pattern, all questions in the exam will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There will be no negative markings for unanswered questions or wrong answers. Sainik School Class 6 & 9 Entrance Exam Pattern 

NTA also releases the previous years' Sainik School question papers and sample papers in online mode. Students can download last year's papers by clicking on the link given above.

They can solve these AISSSEE question papers for Class 6 & 9 to understand the pattern and difficulty level of the Sainik School entrance exam. These papers are available in both English and Hindi. 

• The Sainik School admit card will be released in January 2027. Students can download the admit card online from the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/. 
• Candidates can download the Sainik School admit card by entering their application form number and DOB.
• The NTA will release the AISSEE city intimation slip in January 2027.
• Students must have their admit card while appearing for AISSEE, as it is a mandatory document containing the students' basic details and exams, such as roll number and examination venue. 

• The NTA will release the AISSEE 2027 answer key in February 2027. Students will also get the opportunity to challenge the answer key, if they find any discrepancy. 
• Students have to pay Rs 200 per question to challenge any answer. The objection window will be made available on the official website.
• The answer key of Sainik School admission 2027 includes the correct answers to the questions asked in the AISSEE test. 
• Some renowned coaching centres also release the unofficial answer key before the declaration of results. Using the same, students can check their estimated or probable scores.

Sainik School admission 2027 selection process comprises three main stages: A written exam (AISSEE), e-counselling process and a medical exam. Students who fill out the AISSEE application form can appear in the written exam. After declaring the AISSEE result of Sainik School admission 2027, selected students are called for the e-counselling and medical examination. 

The schools release the final merit list based on marks obtained by a student in the written and medical tests. Selected students will be granted admission in respective Class VI or IX after document verification and submission of fees.

The following points are taken into account in case there is a tie while preparing the Sainik School merit list: 

• In the case of a tie in the overall marks of two candidates, the one securing more marks in Maths is considered.
• If the tie persists, marks for the English and Intelligence Test for classes IX and VI will be considered.
• If the tie is still unresolved, marks obtained in General Science for Class IX and Language paper for Class VI will be considered.
• If the tie remains, the younger candidates will be allotted a seat.
