IGKO Result 2018 - Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has announced the (International General Knowledge Olympiad) IGKO result on October 29 November, 2018. The result is available in online mode and can be checked using a candidate's valid email id or registration number. The result of IGKO will be sent to the respective schools along with detailed Student Performance Report (SPR) and participation certificates for all participating students.

What is the Student Performance Report (SPR)?
Along with the result, participants are provided with a Student Performance Report (SPR), The SPR mentions the detailed analysis of students’ weak and strong areas. In addition, it gives a detailed performance comparison of the student with other candidates at School, City, Zonal and International level. SPR consists of six sections that are given below:

Gives students marks and rank achieved in School / City / Zone / at international level
Offers a section-wise students’ performance score
provides correct answers to questions asked in the Olympiad exam. Also, the answers given by the student and performance comparison of the student’s answers vs other students in the Zone and at the international level
provides a percentage score analysis of the student in comparison with the Class, City, Zone and international level
provides a comparison of average marks analysis at the School, City, Zone and international level
provides a comparison of student’s performance in the Olympiad exams with the past 8 years
IGKO Awards/ Scholarships
SOF will be expending over 16 crores on awards, gifts, scholarships and felicitations. The following awards will be awarded to SOF IGKO winners-International, Zonal, and class topper. Each winner of SOF ICSO will be entitled to one award. The International top 3 rank holders will get awards based on their international ranks. Awards for Zonal ranks will be awarded to the next rank holder. Likewise, the class award for a Zonal award winner will be awarded to the next rank holder.

AT SCHOOL LEVEL
1. Medals to Class Toppers.
Where 10 or more candidates from a class including all the sections write an exam – the top three rank holders will be awarded a gold, silver and bronze medal respectively.
Where between 5 to 9 students from a class from all sections write an exam – the topper will be awarded a gold medal.
Where 25 or more students write an exam from each section of a class– the top three rank holders will be awarded a gold, silver and bronze medal respectively.
All students whose sections are not indicated will be allocated section “X” by default.
