About TS SSC Board 2020

Directorate of Government Education, Telangana conducts TS SSC exam for Class 10th students, every year. Telangana Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (TS SSC) is conducted in the month of March in Telugu, English and Urdu medium. Students who qualify the Telangana SSC exam will be promoted to Class 11th. TS SSC 2020 exams will be held tentative in March 2020. Approximately, 12.15 lakh students appear in Telangana SSC examinations.

  • Registration of TS SSC Exams 2020 has been started. Students can apply through their respective schools.
  • Applicants will be able to download the Telangana 10th time table for SSC 2020 exams from the second week of December 2019.
  • The hall ticket for TS SSC will be released online in the month of February. Students can check details like name, roll number, district, school, date of birth, etc. Each student should bring the hall ticket while appearing for TS SSC exams 2020.
  • DGE will conduct the TS SSC 2020 exams in the month of March 2020 in the morning session starting from 9:30 am.
  • In TS SSC exams 2020, there are 3 language papers which are Maths, Science and Social Science and 6 non-language papers.
  • Students will be able to check their TS SSC result in the 2nd week of May 2020. Students will be able to check their result by entering the roll number in the result login window. Last year, the result was declared on May 13, 2019. 
  • Students who fail in 1 or 2 papers of TS SSC 2020 exams can apply for the supplementary exams, to be held in June 2020. The result for supplementary exams will be issued in July 2020.

TS SSC Board 2020 Eligibility Criteria

DGE Telangana sets the TS SSC Eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of TS SSC 2020 are the minimum requirements that need to be met by students before filling the forms. Telangana SSC 2020 Eligibility criteria is given below:

  1. Students must be studying in class 10th of any school affiliated to the Telangana Board.

  2. Students must have cleared their class 9th from Telangana Board or any other board recognized by Telangana Board.

  3. Students must have at least 14 years of age till August 31, 2020.

Students should fill the application forms correctly and submit the same on time to appear in the TS SSC 2020. Only the offline forms are accepted. Students should contact their respective schools to apply for TS SSC exams 2020

Step 1: Students will have to take the application form from the head of institution of their school.

Step 2: Students need to fill the form completely and attach passport-sized photos along with the form. They also need to get the form signed by their parents or guardian.

Step 3: Now, submit the application form of TS SSC 2020 along with the requisite fee, i.e., Rs. 125 and Rs. 60 for each vocational subjects, before the last date of application.

  1. Students have to study six subjects for TS SSC Exam 2020 will be  conducted in Sanskrit, Telugu, Hindi, English, Mathematics, General Science, Physical Sciences, Biology, Social Studies, Urdu etc., out of these, students are required to opt for six subjects. 

  2. Out of the six subjects, there will be three language papers and the other three will be General Science, Social Studies and Mathematics. 

  3. There will be a total of eleven papers in these six subjects and each subject will have two papers, except second language paper. 

  4. Each paper of TS SSC 2020 exams will be of 100 marks. Out of these 100 marks, summative assessment (board exam) is for 80 marks and the formative test is for 20 marks. 

  5. The minimum passing marks for each paper is 35 marks.

TS SSC Board 2020 Mock Test

Students will be able to download TS SSC 2020 hall ticket in the month of February 2020 for regular, private, OSSC and vocational candidates. Students will be able to download the admit card online from the Telangana Board. To download Telangana SSC hall ticket 2020, follow the steps given below:
