    JNVST Navodaya Class 6 Syllabus 2027

    After knowing the JNVST Class 6 exam pattern 2027, candidates must check the syllabus of the exam for all the sections. The detailed Navodaya Class 6 syllabus 2027 is provided below; refer to the same to prepare:

    Mental Ability Test (MAT): This is a non–verbal test. Questions are based on figures and diagrams only. Questions are meant to assess general mental ability/functioning of the candidates. The section is divided into five parts having 4 questions each from mental ability and remaining 20 questions are from Environmental Studies. A total of 40 questions will be asked from this section as mentioned in the JNVST Class 6 exam pattern 2027.

    QUESTION NO. 21-40 will be given from Environmental Studies (EVS). The test consists of 20 questions containing 15 MCQs and one passage followed by 05 questions. Syllabus for EVS is given below –

    The main purpose of this test is to assess basic awareness of the candidates about their surroundings.

    • The Natural world (Transportation, Rivers, Mountains, Plants and animals on land and water, natural disasters, types of houses/shelters, water cycle etc.)
    • The Human body (Food and nutrients, hygiene and cleanliness, super senses, basic knowledge of internal systems – digestive, circulatory, respiratory etc.)
    • Science in daily life (Food preservation, Water and air pollution, Conservation of water and soil, etc.)
    • Social Surroundings (Superlatives of India, States/Capitals, national symbols, different landscapes, Festivals, seasons, Forests, crops, clothes and fibres etc.)

    Arithmetic Test (AT)

    JNVST Class 6 Syllabus 2027 for Arithmetic

    The main purpose of this test is to measure the candidate's basic competencies in Arithmetic. All the Twenty questions of this test will be based on the following 12 topics

    • Number and numeric system including ascending, descending, nearest, 10/100/1000 number names and value
    • Four fundamental operations on whole number
    • Factors and multiples including their properties
    • Fractions and fundamental operations - addition and subtraction of like fraction and multiplication (unlike fraction and division of fractional numbers not included)
    • Measurement of length, mass, capacity, time, money and unit conversion etc.
    • Simplification of Numerical Expressions
    • Perimeter and area – perimeter of polygon, area of square rectangle and triangle (as a part of rectangle)
    • Types of angles and its simple applications (including directions and mapping)
    • Data analysis using bar diagram, table and pictograph.

    Language Test (LT):

    • This test is held to test the candidate’s reading comprehension skills.

    • As per JNVST Class 6 exam pattern 2027, It consists of four passages, including five questions each.

    • All students need to read the passage and choose the answer from the given passage.

    Navodaya Class 6 Paper Pattern - Method of recording answers

    • Candidates need to fill their roll number in the OMR sheet carefully as mentioned in the JNVST Class 6 admit card.
    • A separate answer sheet is provided to candidates. They are required to mark their answers at an appropriate place on the sheet.
    • Candidates must bring their blue/black ballpoint to mark the answers on the OMR sheet. Use of a pencil is strictly not allowed.
    • According to the JNVST Class 6 Exam Pattern 2027, students have to opt for one answer from four options. Candidates must select the correct answer and mark the correct corresponding number given against each answer on the sheet.
    • No changes in the darkened answer are allowed.
    • As provided in the JNVST Class 6 Exam Pattern 2027, 1.25 marks are given for every correct answer, and there is no negative marking.
