JNVST 2026 Exam- Important Points
Students have to qualify for each section separately to get selected for final admission.
- Each student should bring the NVS Class 9 Admit Card 2026 while appearing in the entrance exam.
- Do not make any stray marks on the OMR answer sheet.
- Use only a Black or Blue ballpoint pen. The use of a pencil is prohibited.
- No separate sheet, along with the answer sheet, will be provided.
- The use of a whitener or eraser is NOT allowed on the OMR sheet.

Hello,
Navodaya Vidyalaya admission for Class 9 (session 2025-26) is through the Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) . The online application form was available from July 30, 2025 to October 21, 2025 on the official website of NVS.
There is no application fee . Students studying in Class 8 during 2025-26 in a recognised school and belonging to the district where the JNV is located are eligible to apply.
The selection test will be held on 7th February 2026 . The exam will be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration with questions from English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science for a total of 100 marks.
