hi ,

Yes, Hindi is one of the mandatory subjects for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for Class 9 admissions. The JNVST exam generally consists of:

  1. Mental Ability Test (MAT) – This tests logical reasoning and mental aptitude.
  2. Arithmetic Test – This focuses on mathematical skills.
  3. Language Test – This includes questions in Hindi and may test reading comprehension and basic language skills.

While Hindi is an important component of the language section, English may also be tested depending on the region and language preferences. However, you should check the official JNVST notification or the JNV website to confirm the exact language requirements for the exam in your area.
