JNVST Class 6 Eligibility Criteria 2020 - Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti determines the eligibility criteria of the NVS Selection Test. At present, 661 Vidyalayas across the country out of that 636 are functioning. To get admission into these Navodaya Vidyalayas, candidates will have to appear for JNVST Admission test. It's essential to fulfil the JNVST class 6 Eligibility criteria to appear in 2020 exam. Candidates studying in 5th class during the academic session 2019-20 can Apply for Navodaya Vidyalaya admission. No candidate is allowed to appear in the exam for the second time. As per Class VI eligibility criteria of JNVST 2020, Candidate must be born between May 1, 2007, and April 30, 2011. JNVST Class 6 Eligibility Criteria 2020 for All Candidates

  • Residence: Only the candidates from the district where Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened are eligible to apply.

  • Age Limit: Candidate applying for JNVST must be born on or after May 1, 2007. He/She must be born on or before April 30, 2011. No age relaxation is provided for any reserved categories.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must be studying in class 5th during the academic session 2019-20 in a Government/Government aided or other recognized school.

  • Candidates who will be passing ‘B’ certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling on or before September 30, 2019, are also eligible.

  • Candidate must be promoted and admitted to class 5th before September 15, 2019, else they will not be able to fulfil JNVST class 6 Eligibility Criteria.

  • Candidate appeared in JNVST exam earlier then he/she is not eligible to apply for the exam as No candidate is allowed to appear for the second time.

JNVST Class 6 Eligibility Criteria 2020 for Rural Candidates

  • A candidate applying for admission under rural quota must have studied in class 3rd and 4th and 5th from the Government/Government Aided/Government recognized school(s) located in rural areas.

  • The candidate must study in 5th class from the same district where Vidyalaya is situated.

  • Candidates studying under the schemes of NIOS should provide their rural status certificate issued by District Magistrate / Tehsildar / Block Development Officer.

  • At least 75% of the seats in a district will be filled by candidates from rural areas and remaining seats will be filled from the urban areas of the district.

JNVST Class 6 Eligibility Criteria 2020 for Urban Candidates

  • A candidate studied classes 3rd, 4th and 5th in a school located in the urban area for even a single day will be considered as an urban candidate.

JNVST Class 6 Eligibility Criteria 2020 for Transgender Candidates

  • There are no separate reservation criteria for transgender's candidates.

  • they will be included in Boys category, under various sub-categories such as Rural, Urban, SC, ST and Divyang.

JNVST Class 6 Application form 2020

Candidates who fulfil the above-mentioned class 6 Eligibility criteria of JNVST are eligible to fill the application form in online mode. The last date to apply for NVS class 6 admission is September 15, 2019.

How to fill the NVS class 6 admission form?

  • Registration: First of the Parent/Guardian of the candidate need to visit NVS admission portal and register candidate with appropriate details.

  • Filling of Application form: In this step, they need to log in with registration ID and password created during the registration. Next, fill the application form with personal details and other details and submit the required documents.

Documents to be submitted after selection in JNVST

Parents/Guardian of candidates will have to submit the following documents during the admission:

  • Residence Certificate in the prescribed form.
  • Proof for date of birth. If, however, any doubt arises, a medical board will verify it.
  • Proofs for eligibility as per the conditions of JNVs.
  • For candidates seeking admission under rural quota, their parents will also have to submit a certificate concerning the child had studied in an institution situated in a rural area.
  • Any other documents required.

how to download admit card without password

It can never be done. If the portal ask for password, then you should provide it. There is no way of downlaoding without password.

Dear Sir / Madam, I had submitted the form for class IX before last date and also download the same,but still not received any conformation from JNVST.Is my process submitted successfully or not? Thank you in advance.

If you have not received any confirmation from the authority, kindly contact their help desk either directly for through mail. Usually within 24-48 hours you will be getting reply. You may attach the copy of downloaded application copy too. If any doubts, pls feel free to ask.

Sorry Dear! But, you didn't mention the class for which you need the sample papers. Still, you can get the model question papers on various online portals if you search online. They will provide you the sample question papers in the form of pdf which can be downloaded. You can even check out YouTube tutorial vedios providing questions and answers. Hope this helps.

sir if anyone studying in different districts from childhood up to 5th standard whose parents are belonging to other districts. if he stays in his grandfather house from childhood is he eligible for JNV exam

sir/mam I have only birth certificate and adhar card these document are sufficient to get the admision in class ix

You need to have your previous year class Marksheet, for getting admitted in any new institution. It's good that you have identity proof but a relevant academic certificate is very important.
