The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) started the online application for Delhi EWS admission 2026-27 for Class 2 onwards in the private unaided schools situated on land allotted by the DDA/Government from September 8, 2026. These schools must reserve 20% of fresh admissions in classes above the entry level for children from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), who are living in the neighbourhood. The selection of the candidates for the EWS/Freeship category admission 2026-27 was done through a computerised draw of lots on September 24, 2026.

EWS Admission Delhi 2026-27
The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) conducted the Delhi EWS admission 2026-27 second computerised draw on July 10, 2026, at 11 AM. Parents and students who applied for the EWS admission in Delhi 2026-27 have been selected based on the eligibility criteria. Those who are placed in the 2nd draw list will have to report to the respective schools and complete the admission process from July 13 to August 18, 2026. The first computerised draw of lots for Delhi EWS admission 2026-27 for nursery, kindergarten, and grade 1 students was released on April 6, 2026, at 10 AM.

Students must fall under the EWS category to be eligible for admission.
Parents who have been staying in Delhi, their annual income must be less than 5 lakh rupees from all sources.
Must be a resident of Delhi and have valid address proof.

Visit the official website at ewsadmissions.delhi.gov.in.
