The Directorate of General Education (DGE), Kerala, has released the Kerala Plus One SAY supplementary and Improvement exam date 2026 on August 22, 2026. The Kerala First Year Higher Secondary Improvement/ Supplementary Examination of 2026 will be conducted from October 12 to October 17, 2026 at designated examination centres across Kerala, Lakshadweep and UAE.
Students who are eligible to appear for the Kerala Plus One SAY supplementary or improvement exam 2026 can submit their applications through their respective schools with the requisite fee. The last date to submit the application form was September 10, 2026. Students must pay a fine of Rs. 600 for submitting the late application form up to September 15, 2026.
Students who have applied for the revaluation of their Plus One results get a deadline extension of two additional days after the publication of their revaluation results to submit their application without late fees. School authorities must complete the online registration of the students and upload their data till September 16, 2026.

The Kerala Plus One SAY exam 2026 timings will vary for each subject according to the session and whether the subject has a practical component. The Kerala +1 improvement exam 2026 will be conducted in two sessions. For subjects without practicals, forenoon exams will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:15 am and the afternoon exams will be held from 2 pm to 4:45 pm. For subjects with practicals, the forenoon exams will be held from 9:30 am to 11:45 am and the afternoon exams will be held from 2 pm to 4:15 pm. The 15 minutes of cool-off time is included in this time for both sessions.
For Biology, the exam will be conducted from 9:30 am to 11:55 am. This duration includes 25 minutes of cool-off time, which comprises 15 minutes for Botany & Zoology and 10 minutes of preparatory time for Zoology. For Music, the exam will be held between 2 pm to 3:45 pm including 15 minutes of cool-off time.
