About GSEB HSC 2019

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) will conduct the GSEB SSC or Gujarat board exam for class 12 in March 2019. The datesheet will be released by the conducting board in January 2019 which will enlist all the important dates of the 12th class exam of Gujarat Board. The admit card shall be made available in February 2019. The  GSEB HSC result will be declared in the last week of May 2019 after which students who clear the exam can apply for competitive exams and colleges/universities for higher education.

GSEB HSC 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Students must have cleared their class 11 from Gujarat Board of Secondary Education or any other recognised board of education.

Students who are appearing for GSEB HSC exam 2019 are required to fill the application form to sit for the exam. The GSEB HSC application form can be filled online for private students and submitted by November 2018. For regular students enrolled in schools, the respective schools will take care of the application process of the exam of 12th Gujarat Board.

GSEB HSC 2019 Preparation Tips

The following tips will aid students in their GSEB 12th exam preparation.

    • Prepare a time table to devote enough time to prepare for each subject and revise them.

    • Spend more time on the weak areas of each subject.

    • Make notes of important points in a separate notebook. Using the highlighter to highlight the important terms, phrases, abbreviations, equations and formulae is also a good idea.     

    • Solve as many previous years’ question papers as possible and try to complete it in the allotted time. 

    • Students must go through their own answer sheet after solving these previous year question papers, because doing so would help them analyse their performance and where they stand at the current stage of preparation.

GSEB HSC 2019 Exam Pattern

The GSEB HSC exam pattern 2019 is prescribed by GSEB for the Arts, Science and commerce streams. The exam is held for three hours in paper-pen mode. It is important to know the exam pattern of 12th class exam of Gujarat Board as it helps in getting familiar with the marking scheme, number of questions and types of questions asked in the exam. GSEB HSC 2019 Admit Card

The admit card for GSEB HSC 2019 will be made available in February 2019. The admit card is an important document and must be carried to the exam. The GSEB HSC admit card contains information, such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam schedule, school name, signature, photo etc. Each school will provide the admit card to its students. Private students can download it from the official website of GSEB.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar (GSHSEB) will announce GSEB 12th board result 2019 in the last week of May, 2019. The GSEB HSC result will be declared online on the official website. To check the result, students can login using their six-digit GSEB roll number. In 2018, a total of 4,59,806 students had appeared for the exam, out of which 2,55,414 successfully cleared the exam. Additionally, the overall pass percentage was 55.55%.
