About GSEB HSC 2019

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) conducts the HSC class 12 board exam in March every year. The GSEB HSC exam 2019 was held from March 7 to March 23, 2019. The exam was conducted in the evening shift between 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm. The date sheet released by GSEB mentions all the details like subject wise exam date and timing of the exam. The GSEB HSC exam 2019 admit card was made available in February 2019 by the schools. Students are required to score a minimum of 33 percent marks out of total marks to pass the GSEB HSC 2019 exam. The  GSEB HSC result for Science has been declared on May 9, 2019 and the result for Arts and Commerce stream has been released on May 25, 2019. The rechecking-result has also been declared on June 19, 2019.

GSEB HSC 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Students must clear their class 11 from Gujarat Board of Secondary Education or any other recognised board of education to be eligible for this exam.

Students who are appearing for GSEB HSC exam 2019 are required to fill the application form to sit for the exam. The GSEB HSC application form can be filled online for private students and submitted by November 2018. For regular students enrolled in schools, the respective schools will take care of the application process of the exam of 12th Gujarat board.

GSEB HSC 2019 Preparation Tips

The following tips will aid students in their GSEB 12th exam preparation.

    • Prepare a time table to devote enough time to prepare for each subject and revise them.

    • Spend more time on the weak areas of each subject.

    • Make notes of important points in a separate notebook. Using the highlighter to highlight the important terms, phrases, abbreviations, equations and formulae is also a good idea.     

    • Solve as many previous years’ question papers as possible and try to complete it in the allotted time. 

    • Students must go through their own answer sheet after solving these previous year question papers, because doing so would help them analyse their performance and where they stand at the current stage of preparation.

The GSEB HSC exam pattern 2019 is prescribed by GSEB for the arts, science and commerce streams. The exam is held for three hours in paper-pen mode. It is important to know the exam pattern of 12th class exam of Gujarat board as it helps in getting familiar with the marking scheme, number of questions and types of questions asked in the exam. GSEB HSC 2019 Admit Card

The admit card for GSEB HSC 2019 will be made available in February 2019. The admit card is an important document and must be carried to the exam. The GSEB HSC admit card contains information, such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam schedule, school name, signature, photo etc. Each school will provide the admit card to its students. Private students can download it from the official website of GSEB.

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar (GSHSEB) has announced GSEB 12th board Science result 2019 on May 9, 2019. The GSEB HSC result declared online on the official website. The result for Arts and Commerce stream has been released on May 25, 2019. The rechecking result has also been released on June 19, 2019, in the form of a pdf file.

The results are available on the official website. To check the result, students can log in on the website using their six-digit GSEB roll number.

  • Visit the official website - gseb.org.
  • Click on the respective result link.
  • Enter the seat number in the login page
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • The result will appear on the screen.
  • Take a printout and keep it safe for future references.
