The Uttarakhand board releases the UK board 12th exam pattern online. Students can download the UK board 12th exam pattern PDF from the official website, ubse.uk.gov.in. The UK board exam will be conducted for 3 hours and it will carry 100 marks in total, except for subjects with practicals. The exams with practical papers will carry 70 marks only, the remaining 30 marks will be carried by the practicals and internal assessment. Subject-Wise UK Board 12th Exam Pattern 2024-25
Students appearing for the UK board 12th exam must check out the UK board Class 12 exam pattern. They must solve previous years' UK board 12th question papers as well. It will help them understand the type of questions that are asked in the examination. Below, we have provided the UK board 12th exam pattern subject-wise for students' reference.
UK Board 12th English Exam Pattern
The UK board 12th English question paper will carry 80 marks in total. The examination will be held for 3 hours. The UK board 12th English paper will be divided into two sections: Section A (Reading) and Section B (Creative Writing Skills).
In the “Reading” section, they will get two passages to read and answer the questions based on the passage.
On the other hand, the “creative writing skills” will include notice writing, letter writing, article writing, grammar etc.
Students will get the option of internal choices in the question paper. Where they can choose to answer any one question out of the two. There will be 1 mark, 2 marks, 4 marks and 5 marks questions.
UK Board 12th English Set 2 Exam Pattern
The set 2 UK board English exam paper will include three sections, A, B and C. There will be reading skills, creative writing skills and literature included in the question paper.

UK Board 12th History Exam Pattern
The UK Board 12th History paper will include MCQ-based questions, 1 mark, 2 marks, 3 mark and 5 marks questions. There will be internal choice questions included in the question paper. The question paper will map as well. Students must ensure to attach the map with the answer sheet before submitting it to the examiner.

The UK board Geography question paper for class 12 will carry 70 marks. There will be 21 questions in total. Each question will carry different marks. There will be multiple choice questions, 1 mark, 2 marks, 3 marks and 5 marks questions included in the paper. Students must answer all questions carefully.

This syllabus will be very helpful in your preparation because it will let you know the topics and chapters which are included in your examination , so go well through your syllabus and plan your studies so that you can score well in your board examination.
And yes , try to complete your whole syllabus at least a month before of your board examination so that you can give your last one month for practicing mock test papers and revision .
To help you further, here are some tips to excel in your 10th board examination:-
- Go well through your textbooks
- While covering the syllabus make revision a part of your studies
- Previous at least 10 years previous year question papers
