The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will publish the CBSE date sheet Class 10 in December 2024. Students can download the official CBSE 2025 board exam date Class 10 through the official website, cbse.gov.in. The CBSE 10th exams are expected to commence on February 15, 2025. CBSE board releases the Class 10 date sheet for private and regular students through a common PDF file.

CBSE Board 2025 Class 10 Exam Timings

Students should arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time to prevent last-minute stress: As per previous year trends,

  • CBSE Class 10th question paper will be issued to students at 10.15 am. 15 minutes will be given to students for reading the paper.

About last year's CBSE exams

Last year, the CBSE 10th date sheet was released on December 12, 2023. The board conducted the CBSE 10th board theory exams from February 15 to March 13, 2024, and the CBSE 10th practical exams started on January 1, 2024.

In 2023-24, a total of 2,238,827 candidates appeared in Class 10 exam. Out of this, 93.60% of students managed to pass the exam. The pass percentage of girls was 92.71% and boys pass percentage was 94.75%.

CBSE Class 10 Calculation of Percentage

The CBSE Class 10 calculation criteria says, that no overall division/distinction/aggregate shall be awarded. If a Class 10 student has over five subjects, then to determine the best five subjects may be taken by the admitting institution or employer.

According to cbse norms candidates who have completed class 10th, class 11th, have a gap year or have failed class 12th can appear for admission in 12th class.for admission in cbse board you need to clear your 11th class first and you must have studied from CBSE board or any other recognized and equivalent board/school.
