Eligibility for Admission to Kendriya Vidyalaya Mysore 2019

The candidates willing to take admission need to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria set up by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Let’s have a look at the criteria mentioned below

  • For admission to class 1, the child must be 5 years old as on March 31, 2019. However, the child born on April 1 will also be considered for admission.

  • There are no age criteria for the candidates willing to take admission to class 11. 

  • For differently abled candidates the maximum age limit will be relaxed by the principal of KV. The relaxation will be given for two years.

  • For class XII there is no upper or lower age limit provided there is no break in studies after passing the class XI.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mysore 2019 - Instruction for Registration

  • The registration for all the classes from class 1 to 12 will open if there is the availability of seat. 

  • Parents can collect the registration form for KV Mysore 2019 from the principal of the school.    

  • The completely filled application form along with the documents must be submitted Kendriya Vidyalaya Mysore before the last date as notified by the authorities. The prescribed documents must be attested. 

  • Registration for class II and above except class XI will be done only if vacancies exist. 

  • For admission to class XI, the application form will be available soon after the declaration of class X result.

How to fill the admission form for KV Mysore 2019

  • First, visit the official page of Kendriya Vidyalaya 2019 Mysore and click on the link for admission.

  • A new window will open consisting of the admission form.

  • Candidates will have to fill all the requisite details. 

  • After filling the details, upload the photographs and signature and click on the submit button.

  • Once you have completely filled the Kendriya Vidyalaya Mysore 2019 application form take the printout of it and attach all the relevant documents and submit it to the respective campus of KV.

Documents required for Kendriya Vidyalaya Mysore 2019 registration are as follows

  • Admission to Class I - age proof in a form of a birth certificate issued by the authority will be acceptable. 

  • Admission up to class VIII will be granted without any school transfer certificate provided that the child should be eligible and his/her birth certificate should be issued by the government. 

  • If a child is a grandchild of Hon’ble Member of Parliament and PSU employees then a proof of relationship will be required that is either of the child’s parents should be in the relation of the Hon’ble Member of Parliament or PSU employee. 

  • If a child is the grandchildren of KVS employee, then proof of the relationship of either of the child’s parents is required. 

  • SC/ST/EWS/OBC/ and BPL candidates need to produce a certificate issued by the state or Union Government. Further, the certificate has to be submitted within a period of three months from the date of admission. 

  • Physically disabled or handicapped children need to produce the certificate issued by the civil surgeon or rehabilitation centre. 

  • Certificate of retirement for uniformed defence employees. 

  • Proof of residence is also required to submit.
