NTSE Syllabus 2020 – National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will set the syllabus of NTSE 2020. For both Stage 1 & Stage 2, question papers are created after considering the NTSE 2020 syllabus. Students appearing for the exam must be aware of NTSE syllabus to prepare for the test. National Talent Search Examination conducts at state-level, Stage I and national level, Stage II. Usually, the stage 1 syllabus and stage 2 syllabus remains the same, only the difficulty level of the test will vary. NTSE syllabus includes important topics of the Class IX and X syllabus. NTSE 2020 has two parts that are SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) and MAT (Mental Ability Test). The MAT section will test students on their thinking ability, reasoning etc. while the SAT is further divided into three sub-sections namely Science, Maths and Social Science. NCERT has not specified any syllabus for NTSE 2019. Those appearing for the exam will have to appear for two papers namely MAT and SAT. The total marks of NTSE have been increased from 150 to 200 along with the removal of the language test. The official cut off will be released along with the result. The cutoff is expected to be around 140.
