The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has released the Tamil Nadu Class 12 exam pattern 2025 for the board exams. The TN 12th exam pattern consists of three sections: Section A comprises multiple-choice questions (MCQs), Section B features short answer questions, and Section C contains long answer questions.

The TN exam pattern allocates 70 marks for theory, 20 for practical assessments (applicable to subjects with practical components), and 10 for internal assessments. The Tamil Nadu 12th Board exams 2025 will be conducted from March 3 to March 25, 2025, offline using pen and paper. Students can choose to write the TN Board exams in either English or Tamil.
