Sainik School Eligibility Criteria 2020 - Sainik Schools Society has released the Sainik School eligibility criteria for admission into class 6th and 9th. Eligibility criteria include a minimum age, state of domicile, educational qualification etc. Only boy students who are studying in class V or VIII from a recognized school are eligible to apply for Sainik School admission 2020. Students applying for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination 2020 (AISSEE) must read the Sainik School Eligibility Criteria 2020 before filling the forms. Only candidates who satisfy the mentioned eligibility clauses can proceed further to fill the AISSEE application form. Applicants do note that only boys are eligible to get admission in Sainik Schools. Besides, their nationality should be Indian. Students residing outside India are not eligible for admission. Any student who will find ineligible at any stage will not be granted admission and the fee paid while filling the form will not be returned either. There are 27 sainik schools in India but for girls there are 3 sainik schools as follows:
1. Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey UP Sainik School, Lucknow
Father of candidate must be a domicile of UP.
Female candidates are eligible for Class 9th. For example, for session 2020-21 a candidates must have been born not before 02 Jul 2007 and not later than 01 Jan 2010 for Class VII and a candidates must have been born not before 02 Jul 2005 and not later than 01 Jan 2008 for Class 9th.
Must have passed Class VI and VIII for admission in class VII and IX respectively by 20 May 2020 from a recognized school.

It takes entrance exam for class 6th.
Note: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has given an approval to admit girls in Sainik schools across the country from the 2021-22 academic session.

The various coaching institutes have released their answer keys like resonance, akash, fiitjee but there can be some discrepancy in their answers. The official answer key would probably be released by nta by the first week or Feb or may be a little bit after that. As previously it was released after one month of examination.
