Sainik School Eligibility Criteria 2020- Sainik Schools Society has released the Sainik School eligibility criteria for admission into class 6th and 9th. Eligibility criteria include a minimum age, state of domicile, educational qualification etc. Only boy students who are studying in class V or VIII from a recognized school are eligible to apply for Sainik School admission 2020. Students applying for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination 2020 (AISSEE) must read the Sainik School Eligibility Criteria 2020 before filling the forms. The exam conducting authority will reject the application forms of ineligible candidates. Hence, read the complete article to know the Sainik School Eligibility Criteria-

Sainik School Eligibility Criteria 2020

Only candidates who satisfy the mentioned eligibility clauses can proceed further to fill the AISSEE application form. Applicants do note that only boys are eligible to get admission in Sainik Schools. Besides, their nationality should be Indian. Students residing outside India are not eligible for admission. Any student who will find ineligible at any stage will not be granted admission and the fee paid while filling the form will not be returned either. Sainik School Class 6th Eligibility Criteria

Students have to fulfill the eligibility norms for Sainik School admission

  • Nationality- Only Indian can apply for All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exams (AISSEE) 2020.
  • Gender- The exam conducting authority will accept applications of Boys only.
  • Age Limit- The age of a student should be between 10-12 years i.e they should be born after April 1, 2008 and before March 31, 2010.
  • Education Qualification- Class 5th students are eligible to send their application.

Sainik School Class 9th Eligibility Criteria

To get admission in Class 9th, students should satisfy all the below-given terms of Sainik School Eligibility 2020

  • Nationality- Only Indian can apply for AISSEE 2020.
  • Gender- The application forms of Boys will be accepted for further admission process.
  • Age Limit- Student's age should be between 13-15 years i.e they should be born between April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2007.
  • Education Qualification- Class 8th students are eligible to send their application.

Sainik School Eligibility Criteria 2020- Documents Required

Students have to upload certain documents to satisfy their eligibility. Below is the list of required documents

  1. Date of Birth Certificate
  2. State Domicile Certificate
  3. Caste Certificate
  4. Income Certificate
  5. Aadhaar Card

Along with the above Sainik School eligibility criteria 2020, students will need to pass the AISSEE 2020 and medical examination to get shortlisted to final document verification round. There are only 80 seats available in Class 6th & 10 seats in Class 9th in all 26 Sainik Schools. However, a large proportion of the seats are reserved for candidates from the state in which a particular branch of the school is located.

Sainik School Admission Form 2020

  • Admission in Sainik Schools will be granted on the basis of their eligibility and performance in the written test (AISSEE) & medical exam.
  • Sainik School 2020 application forms will be available online from August 5 till September 23, 2019.
  • Students fulfilling Sainik School eligibility criteria 2020 can apply for the admission which includes a written exam, interview and medical examination.
  • Students have to submit the application form, required document and application fee of Rs 400/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates) online before the last date.
  • The mode of payment is only online either by debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
  • No hard copy of the application form will be accepted by the exam conducting authority.

The residence/domicile certificate is to be issued by the concerned authority of State Government/Union Territory to certify that the person bearing the ceritificate is a domicile/resident of State/Union Territory to whom  the certificate being issued.

Hello Aspirant,

Sainik School Society is an autonomous authority which conducts admission in all 31 Sainik Schools across the country and Students are admitted in class 6 and 9 on the basis of All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) which is held in two stages.

The authority has released the registration form on August 5, 2019. Students can fill the admission form until October 10, 2019.
