There are two sections in the NMMS syllabus i.e. SAT and MAT. The NMMS MAT syllabus includes reasoning questions. Whereas, the NMMS SAT syllabus consists of social science, science, and mathematics.

National Means-Cummer Merit Scholarship Scheme is a scholarship for students who fall under the economic weaker section (EWS) of society.
Although there is no set curriculum for the NMMS exam, students are urged to study the Class 7 and 8 syllabus in order to prepare for the examination.
A total of 180 minutes have been allotted to the exam. The time limit for each paper is 90 minutes.
To qualify for the NMMS exam 2025-26, students should score a minimum of 40 per cent marks.
