The CBSE Class 7 maths paper has four sections in the exam, section A, section B, section C, and section D. Each section has a higher difficulty level than the previous one. Students must check this Class 7 maths marks distribution here:

**Section A: **This section of the Class 7 maths paper will have one-mark questions. These are basic questions and very easy to answer. Section A questions are very less time-consuming.

**Section B: **Answers to questions in this section are short, each question carries two marks. The answer doesn't require a detailed solution or steps, it can be solved in fewer steps.

**Section C: **The questions asked in section C carry 3 marks. These questions required proper attention and steps to be solved. Section C questions can be lengthy sometimes, but overall they are moderate.

**Section D: **Long problems come in this section of the Class 7 paper. Students need to have a proper understanding of the questions. Each question carries five marks and requires time.
