Haryana Board 10thHBSE 10th 2018 – Haryana Board of School Education conducted Haryana Board 10th exams for all districts from March 8 to March 24, 2018. All students who have cleared their HBSE 9th class were eligible to sit for HBSE 10th 2018. Haryana Board will release the Haryana 10th result around April 15, 2018. In the academic year 2017, 3,15,900 students took the Haryana board 10th exam in 26 subjects and only 1,59,490 cleared it. The marks scored by students in HBSE 10th exam will let them specialise in any one stream from Science, Commerce or Humanities to pursue in Class 11 and 12. Haryana Board 10th Class Result

The board will declare HBSE 10th result in the mid of April every year. However, this year, the result is expected to be out by May 21, 2018. Haryana Board of School Education will release the HBSE 10th result on its official website only. Students who appeared for their HBSE 10th exam can check their result by clicking on the link below. Students will be required to enter their Roll Number or full name as given on their Admit Card to view their HBSE Class 10 result. If in any case, a student is not satisfied with the marks obtained, he/she can apply for rechecking of paper(s) within 30 days after the declaration of HSBE 10th result.

HBSE 10th Result – Criteria for Qualifying

In order to clear Haryana Board 10th, a student will have to qualify in the following five subjects of external examination separately:

i) Hindi (First Language),

ii) English (Second Language),

iii) Mathematics,

iv) Social Science and

v) Science and Technology.

 

In order to qualify in a subject, a student will have to obtain at least 33% marks (marks in external examination + marks in CCE + marks in Practicals). In addition to securing an overall 33%, a student also needs to obtain at least 33% marks separately in the external examination, at least 33% marks separately in Practicals (if any) there will be no minimum pass marks for CCE (For the subject in which there is only internal assessment, grades will be shown in the certificate but there will be no minimum grade required for qualifying).

 

Private Students pursuing their HSBE 10th from Haryana Open School have to score at least 33% marks in five compulsory subjects Hindi, English, Maths, Social Science and Science & Technology. Sixth subject i.e. elective subjects non compulsory (Sanskrit/ Punjabi/ Urdu/ Home Science/ Physical Education/ Computer Science).

HBSE 10th Eligibility

Regular students of 10th class of Government/recognized Secondary/Senior Secondary School who have passed 9th class examination as regular student and who have completed not less than 75% of total attendance of class 10th and have an Enrolment No. of HBSE 10th can only be permitted to take Haryana Board 10th examination.

 

Ex-Students:

(I) Secondary Examination:

(a) Students who have not qualified or placed under compartment.

(b) A student who has qualified the examination conducted by Haryana Board or has passed any other similar examination from any other Board/University considered equivalent, may appear for additional subject/s.

(c) A candidate who has qualified the examination can appear for partial/full improvement.

 

For private students, they should have completed 14 years of age on 1st February of the Year of admission.
