Haryana Open Board Exam Passing Criteria

For the 10th class, students must score at least 33% of marks in compulsory subjects like Maths, Social Science, English, Science, and Technology. Elective courses like Home Science, Sanskrit, Urdu, Physical Education, Punjabi, Computer Science, and Physical Education fall under the sixth subject. These are available for students but are not mandatory.

Students appearing for the 12th class exams for the Haryana Open Board must score a minimum of 33% in each subject. Candidate must also score at least 33% of marks in practical as well as theory exams. The overall aggregate score must also be 33% for the senior secondary students.

Haryana Open Board Supplementary Examination Results 2025

If a student fails to meet the qualification requirements, they will be assigned to the re-appear/compartment category for that particular subject. Students will have a total of six opportunities to improve their exam performance including the main exam. If students do not qualify in both practical or theory papers, they must re-take the exam for the specific paper in which they didn’t qualify.
