This year, the exams were conducted between March 1, 2018 to April 3, 2018. The results of MP Board Class 12 has been released on May 14, 2018. A total of 7,65, 358 students had appeared in the exam, out of which 4,05,122 have passed the exam. The pass percentage among boys is 64.39 whereas it is 72.33 among girls. The board has also published the state-wise and district-wise merit lists. Shivani Pawar has got the first rank in class 12 exam. Ayushi Dehengula and Lalit Panchauri secured the first rank from Commerce and Science stream respectively. In the year 2017, a total of 7,11,896 students had appeared (1,68,548 of them 'private' candidates or those who were not regular) for MP board 12th exam out of which 2,18,272 secured first division. 70.70 percent of government schools students passed their MP Board class 12. The result of MP Board 12th has been  declared on  14, 2018. To check their result, students have to enter roll number and application number on the MP Board 12th result window mentioned below. MP Board Class 12th – Marking

The passing marks of candidates are calculated based on the percentage obtained from the five highest scores, out of six subjects.

  • Students are awarded division - First, Second and Third division.

  • First division is awarded if a candidate secures 60% and above while second division is awarded on scoring 45%. The third division is awarded to candidates if they secures 33%.

  • Distinction is awarded if a candidate secures 75% or above marks. 

MP Board 12th 2018 – Improvement of result

Candidates will have the only chance in the next examination to improve their division or result in high school examination. They will be issued new mark sheet if his/her division or marks are improved with a minimum change of 10 marks. Students have to surrender his or her original mark sheet of previous examination.

Evaluation will be continuous and schools will maintained a

cumulative record of every student which will be for inspection to

the authorities of the Board and of the schools concerned.

However students offering Vocational Training will also have the

facility to appear in the examination, specially conducted for the

purpose and on passing it, a certificate of proficiency will be

awarded in the trade.

MP Board 12th – Eligibility Criteria

A student must have passed his/her class 11th from a recognised board of education to be eligible to sit for MP Board class 12 exam. Regular, private and correspondence course candidates will be eligible for admission only if he/she fulfills the requirements issued by the secretary of MP Board of secondary education. Student who fails in one subject of external examination shall be eligible for supplementary examination in that subject. For subjects containing both theory and practical examination, students who failed in either examination shall be eligible.
