About MP Board 12th 2019

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will conduct MP Board class 12 exams in the months of March and April, 2019. MP Board timetable for class 12 will be released in the last week of December, 2018 in the online mode. Students must check it to schedule their preparation and revision. The admit card for MP Board class 12 exam will be available in January 2019, which can be collected from the respective school authorities. Students must also practice the sample papers/previous year question papers to have a better idea about the exam pattern, marking scheme and to know the type of questions that are asked in the exam. MPBSE will declare class 12 result in the last week of May, 2019 in the online mode. Candidates can easily check it by entering their roll no and application no. After the declaration of result, students can apply for admission to various colleges and universities to pursue their higher education.

MP Board 12th 2019 Eligibility Criteria

MP Board class 12 eligibility criteria states that a student must have passed his/her class 11th from MP board of education to be eligible to sit for MP Board class 12 exam. Regular, private and correspondence course candidates will be eligible for admission only if he/she fulfils the requirements issued by the secretary of MP Board of secondary education. A student who fails in one subject of external examination shall be eligible for supplementary examination in that subject. For subjects containing both theory and practical examination, students who failed in either examination shall be eligible.

MP Board preparation tips are listed below:

  • Students must complete the syllabus well in time and save enough time for revision.
  • Once a child is done with the study of syllabus they must start practising sample papers or previous year question papers in order to have a better idea of exam pattern. This would also help in the revision and analysis of weak areas which needs to work upon.
  • Follow a proper timetable and try to stick to it. 
  • Students must not always study. Short breaks and proper rest is also important to keep mind and body afresh.
  • They must also eat healthily. It would not only keep them away from diseases but would also give them the strength to stick to their study schedule.

Evaluation will be continuous and schools will maintain a cumulative record of every student which will be for inspection to the authorities of the Board and of the schools concerned.

However, students offering Vocational Training will also have the facility to appear in the examination, especially conducted for the purpose and on passing it, a certificate of proficiency will be awarded in the trade.

MP Board 12th 2019 Admit Card

MP Board will release the hall ticket in the last week of January 2019. Students can collect it from the school authorities or can also download it by entering the requisite details. Admit card of MP Board class 12 mentions details regarding a candidates name, roll no., exam centre, exam schedule etc. No candidate is allowed to enter exam hall without hall ticket.

MP Board result for class 12 will be released in the last week of May 2019 in online mode. A student can download their result by entering their roll no., followed by application no. It mentions the details regarding candidates roll no., name, marks scored subject wise, total score, division. The original mark sheet will be issued by the board after few days of the declaration of MPBSE HSSC result. 

The passing marks of candidates are calculated based on the percentage obtained from the five highest scores, out of six subjects.

  • Students are awarded division - First, Second and Third division.
  • The first division is awarded if a candidate secures 60% and above while second division is awarded on scoring 45%. The third division is awarded to candidates if they secure 33%.
  • A distinction is awarded if a candidate secures 75% or above marks.
