A realignment of the subject-wise total marks and the weightage between theory exams and internal/practical assessments is proposed, to align the marking scheme with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) pattern. AP Inter Mathematics Exam Pattern 2026
As per the year 2026, the AP inter-exam paper for mathematics will carry 75 marks in total.
The paper will be divided into three sections, A, B and C.
There will be very short-answer type, short-answer type and long-answer type questions included in the AP intermediate question paper.
Internal choice questions will be provided within the sections.

AP Inter Botany Exam Pattern 2026
The AP intermediate Botany exam will carry 60 marks in total. The examination will be conducted for 3 hours.
The AP intermediate Botany paper will be divided into three sections, A, B and C.
Section A will consist of very short answer-type questions, that will carry 2 marks each.
Each question in section B will carry 4 marks. It will consist of short answer questions. Students must answer these questions in 20 lines.
Section C questions will be long answer types and will carry 8 marks each. Each answer must be limited to 60 lines.
Diagram questions will be included in the AP Inter Botany paper. Students must draw the diagrams neatly and label them accordingly.
