NMMS Result 2019 – Maharashtra state authority of NMMS exam has released provisional NMMS result 2019-20. Other states and UTs will announce the result of NMMS 2019 8th class online in the month of January/February 2020. NMMS 2019 Result is made available pdf format containing the student's name, school name, roll number, rank, marks scored in MAT and SAT etc. NMMS result 2019 will be provided through login window. Some states may release the result of NMMS 2019 offline that students can access from their respective schools. Students will be selected on the basis of their performance in the NMMS Exam. How to check NMMS Result 2019-20?

The result is made available in online and offline modes. Candidates may follow the steps below to check and download their online NMMS 2019 result. However, to check offline result, students should contact the concerned official of their schools-

• Go to the official website of respective SCERT/ Education department of the respective state or click on the NMMS 2019-20 result link given above
• NMMS result 2019 pdf file will appear on the screen of your computer. Check your name and school details in the result list.
• Shortlisted candidates will also be able to check their scores in MAT & SAT along with the cut off marks.
• On finding it, they must download and take the printout of the result for the future.

NMMS 2019 Qualifying Cutoff

SCERT of all States and UTs release the NMMS cut off along with the NMMS result 2019. These cut off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate should attain in the MAT & SAT to qualify the exam. NMMS cut off is different for different states.

NMMS Result 2019 Class 8th– Points to Remember

The following conditions are applied while selecting the students for the scholarship:

• The parental income of the candidates must not be more than Rs.1. 50 lakh per annum from all sources.
• At the time of selection for the award of scholarship, the candidate must have scored at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Class 8th (5% relaxation for SC/ST).
• For renewal of scholarship in Class 9th & 10th, students must have passed the annual exams with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent (5% for SC/ST)
• Students must obtain at least 60% marks in Class 10th (5% for SC/ST) or equivalent exams for the continuation of the NMMS scholarship at Class 11th & 12th.
• Students must get admission in the next class within 3 months of the declaration of the previous class result.

What after NMMS Result 2019 Class 8th?

After the declaration of result, students have to open a joint account with their parents to receive the scholarship amount. Qualified candidates will receive a yearly scholarship of Rs. 6000 (Rs.500 per month).

Shortlisted students have to open a joint account in the State Bank of India. The bank will monthly send the fund or scholarship amount to the account of students by electronic transfer through Public Financial Management System (PFMS).

MHRD, Government of India awards NMMS scholarship to economically weaker background students of class 8 for pursuing further studies. The selection of the awardee for the scholarship will be based on the test (MAT and SAT) conducted by individual state or union territory. All those students who qualify for NMMS scholarship, fulfilling all the eligibility conditions and clears the NMMS scholarship exam get a scholarship of Rs. 6,000 per annum @ Rs. 500 per month for Class 9 and continuation/renewal in Class 10 to 12.
