The applicant must be born between May 1, 2015 and July 31, 2017. He or she must be studying in Class V during the academic session 2026-27 in a government or government-recognised school within the same district where admission is sought.
Students who have already passed Class V before the 2026-27 session or are repeaters are not eligible.
Candidates must have studied Classes III, IV, and V in a full academic session. For the rural quota, the school location from Class III to V must fall under the rural category as per the government classification.
