The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) determines the NVS 6th eligibility criteria for admission across the country. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to go through a smooth process during Navodaya Class 6 admission.
Residence: Only those applicants who live in the district where the Navodaya Vidyalaya is located are eligible to apply.
Age Limit for Class 6: To be eligible for the JNVST, applicants must be born between May 1, 2014, and July 31, 2016, inclusive.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be enrolled in Class 5 at a government-funded or recognized school during the 2025-2026 academic year.
The first step of the JNV Class 6 admission process is to register for the entrance test. The JNV 6th Class admission form is accepted online mode through the official website. Parents or guardians must fill out the JNV application form on the official JNV website before the last date, which is July 29, 2025.
Note: A Candidate is allowed to apply for JNVST only once. During verification of the registration data, if it is found that the candidate had applied in previous years, the candidature of the candidate will be rejected.
