The jawahar navodaya smiti provides lateral entry admission to class 9th vacant seats through the JNVST exam. The exam for class 9th will be held on 8th February 2025. The test will include English (15 question) , Hindi (15 question) ,Maths( 35 ques) , general science (35 ques) . The admit card for the exam will be available by February 2025. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS, has again extended the JNVST 2025 Class 6 entrance test registration date to October 7, 2024 an extension from the previous deadline of September 23, 2024..Interested students can apply by visiting the official website,i.e., cbseitms.rcil.gov.in. To complete the registration for the JNVST 2025 entrance exam, students will need their registration number and date of birth and all other necessary documents.

2.) Click on the link for JNVST Class 9th 2025 Admissions.
3.) You will be directed to a new page where you need to create an account if you're a new user.
4.) Fill the application form carefully. Personal details, academic details, parents' details and category details will be asked.
5.) Now upload the required documents -

7.) You will be given registration number note it carefully.
8.) Closer to the exam date, download your admit card from the same website using your registration number.

Hope you are doing well.
No , Everyone falling under the required age criteria for admission is eligible to give entrance exam and then follows the selection procedures.
Also there is some quota for govt, rural & then girl students.
If you are a girl studying in a village, go for JNVST, you will make it. Life at JNVs is fantastic undoubtedly.
Anyone in class 5th ( minimum age 9), 8th ( min age 12) & 10th( age 14) can apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
For 5th class students , forms come in September- October on NVS website. Fill it & send to the principal of nearest JNV. You can also get form from nearest JNV office. This test is called JNVST.
For 8th class students, it's called lateral entry test. Forms come usually in March -april . U can get form from NVS website or nearest JNV office.
For 10th class students, there is no test , they take a few students if seats are vacant on basis of 10th %.
