The Science Olympiad Foundation will release the SOF IMO Cut off 2026-27 for Class 3-12 in online mode. Students appeared for the IMO 2026-27 exam can access the IMO cutoff 2026-27 from the official website at sofworld.org. The SOF Maths Olympiad cut-off 2026-27 for level 1 will be released in January 2027. Students who cleared the IMO level 1 2026-27 cut-off are eligible to appear for the IMO 2nd level exam.

IMO Level 1 Cut Off 2026-27 Criteria for Selection
Along with the top 5% of students who secure IMO cutoff marks, the following students will also be selected for the level 1 exam:
The top 25 rank holders of each class at the zone level.
Class-wise toppers who secured at least 50% marks are also invited for the level 2 exam if they competed in the level 1 exam with at least 10 students of a class.
Tie-Breaking Criteria of SOF IMO
Students are selected for the level 2 SOF IMO exam based on their total marks and the IMO total cutoff. If two or more students obtain the same marks, then the section-wise IMO cutoff will be considered to determine the qualifiers. The tie-breaking criteria for IMO are mentioned below.

What after IMO Cutoff 2026-27?
After the release of the IMO 2026-27 cutoff, SOF will declare the IMO result for the level 1 exam.
Students can check their IMO 2026-27 result on the official website at sofworld.org by entering their roll number in the result login window.
IMO result 2026-27 mention the student’s rank, marks obtained and other details, which will inform them about their selection/non-selection for the level 2 IMO exam as per the cut-off marks.
