NMMS Scholarship 2020 - MHRD, Government of India awards a total of 100,000 NMMS scholarships every year to meritorious Class 8th students. SCERT/ Education Departments conduct state-level NMMS scholarship exam in offline mode. Students who will qualify the written exam with minimum marks will receive the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS). NMMS 2020 will be conducted in the month of November/ December 2020. Students can apply for the NMMS 2020 Scholarship through online and offline mode. It is mandatory for students to pass 8th with a minimum score of 55% to be eligible for the NMMS scholarship 2020-21. NVS, KVS, Sainik Schools and private schools are not eligible for the scholarship. NMMS Exam 2020 consists of two papers, MAT and SAT. NMMS Scholarship 2020 - Eligibility Criteria
The student must pass class 8th with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in order to be eligible for the nmms scholarship 2020-21.
Students have to appear and qualify for the NMMS exam.
The family income of a student must not exceed Rs.1,50,000.
Who are not eligible for the NMMS Scholarship 2020
Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya and Jawahar Vavodaya Vidyalaya, Sainik Schools are not eligible for the NMMS Scholarship.
Those students who are studying in the residential/boarding schools run by the State Government Institutions are also not entitled to get the scholarship.
NMMS Scholarship 2020 - Eligibility Criteria for Renewal of Scholarship
To continue the scholarship in class 10 and 12, the student must clear the previous class with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST students)
To continue the NMMS Scholarship 2020-21, the student must secure a minimum of 60 per cent marks in Class 10 (50%for SC/ST students).
Students are required to duly fill the application form of NMMS Scholarship 2020 to appear for the examination.
The application form for NMMS will tentatively be released in the month of July 2020.
The application form for NMMS scholarship 2020-21 will be available in both online and offline mode.

Students are required to submit their application form along with the required documents such as domicile, income proof, caste certificate, etc.

NMMS Exam Pattern 2020
Students appearing for the NMMS scholarship 2020 exam, must check the complete exam pattern to prepare well for the examination.
There will be two sections in the exam, Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
MAT comprises questions from reasoning and critical thinking skills. Whereas in SAT, questions will be asked from science, social science, and mathematics.
Each question paper will be of 90 marks.
The exam duration will be 90 minutes for each paper.
NMMS Syllabus 2020
To prepare for the NMMS Scholarship 2020, students must finish the entire syllabus at least a month before the exam.
The questions asked in the NMMS exam are of class 8th level. Therefore, students have to cover the complete NCERT syllabus of Class 8. Focus on science, social science, and mathematics subjects to score well in the examination.
Some questions may also be asked from the syllabus of class 7.
As the MAT question paper comprises questions from reasoning, hence students must practice reasoning too.
Refer to any of the books available to solve the question of reasoning.
NMMS Books 2020
Students are required to refer to the below-mentioned books and prepare a proper study plan to qualify the examination.
Refer to the NCERT books for Class 8 of Science, Mathematics and Social Science.
Students are also required to read the books of class 7 to prepare for the NMMS Scholarship 2020.
Apart from the books, refer to the previous year question papers and model papers to ace your preparation level.
Students must solve the question papers of NMMS to know the exam pattern and marking scheme. Regular practice of NMMS question papers will help the students in managing the time during the real examination. Through question papers, students will be able to analyse the difficulty level of the questions asked previously and the important topics.
State examination authorities will release the result of NMMS Scholarship 2020 exam in online mode and offline mode.
Students can check the result online from the official website of the SCERT’s of their respective states.
The offline result will be made available on the respective schools premises.
The result will be released in the form of a merit list from January to March 2021.
The NMMS result will include the student's name, school name, roll number, rank, marks scored in MAT and SAT etc.

Actually I passed NMMS exam in 2017 from kerala but I got the amount one time but now I did not get the scholorship amount what can we do now
national merit cum means scholarship is a centrally sponsored scholarship scheme, however students gets around 6000 per year one time in their bank account, nmms scholarship needs to renew in every year, however I suggest you to contact with nmms help desk to clarify your problems regarding stipend issue.

see to apply for national merit cum means scholarship you dont need to wait upto 10th exam, you may apply for nmms scholarship once you pass your 8th standard exam, the eligibility criteria is,

Sir i am given this exam in 2017-18 i have got only one year scholarship then i havent got any scholarship from NMMS
NMMS scholarship needs to be renewed every year. you might not have renewed it. if you are getting through your institute then go and meet your respective faculty who deals with all these work and activities. ask him/her for not receiving the scholarship amount previous year. They will surely let you know what you missed.
