Devananda Reddy has provided this information.
The selected student will be granted an annual sum of Rs. 12,000/-, provided that they open a joint savings bank account with their parents in either SBI or any nationalized bank that offers a core banking facility/ESC facility.
Any accounts other than savings bank accounts will be rejected when the scholarship is disbursed.
Every selected student must register and submit their application on the National Scholarship Portal, which can be accessed at www.scholarships.gov.in. Once the application is successfully submitted on the portal, the concerned Institute Nodal Officer (INO) must verify the application through their INO Login.
Subsequently, the application should be verified by the respective District Nodal Officer (DNO) through their DNO Login.
Failure to complete these verification steps will result in the student being ineligible for the scholarship indefinitely.
The student should regularly check their student login on the National Scholarship Portal to verify the payment status. The status updates are only available in the student login section.

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us at Careers360 about the NMMS exam for 8th standard in 2024-25. As an intern here, I'd be happy to share some important points and info about question papers.
So, for the NMMS (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship) exam, here are some key things to keep in mind:
1. The exam usually has two parts: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
2. Each part typically has 90 multiple-choice questions.
3. The duration is usually about 90 minutes for each part.
4. Topics for MAT often include logical reasoning, analogies, classification, series completion, and other mental ability questions.
5. SAT usually covers subjects like Science, Math, and Social Studies at the 8th standard level.
Now, about question papers - while I can't provide actual papers (as they change each year), here are some tips:
1. Try to get hold of previous years' question papers. They're great for practice.
2. Look for mock tests online. Many educational websites offer these for NMMS prep.
3. Focus on NCERT books for 6th, 7th, and 8th standards. They're a goldmine for the content.
4. Practice time management. With 90 questions in 90 minutes, you've got to be quick!
5. Don't forget to brush up on current affairs, especially for the Social Studies part.
Remember, the exact format or difficulty level might change a bit each year, so it's always good to stay updated with the latest info from the official sources.
Is there anything specific about the exam you're particularly curious about? Like study strategies or specific subject areas? Let me know if you need more details!
