The AP NMMS cut-off is the minimum score that applicants must achieve to be considered for the scholarship candidate list. To qualify for the NMMS AP 2024-25 cut-off, students must meet specific criteria based on their category: general or SC/ST. For general students, a score of at least 40% in both the MAT and SAT sections is required. Similarly, SC and ST students must achieve a minimum score of 32%.
Students are advised to promptly download their merit cards from the website and verify that their particulars such as name, date of birth, father or mother's name, etc., match exactly with those on their Aadhaar card (without any discrepancies). They should also check the scholarship portal of the Ministry of Education in New Delhi.
Applications must be submitted on www.scholarships.gov.in before the last date. The applications must be approved by the respective School Nodal Officer and District Nodal Officer logins. The NMMS AP printed merit cards will be dispatched soon to the office of the concerned District Education Officer. The student's name, father's name, and confirmation date should match the details on the Aadhaar card exactly as printed on the merit card.
Students whose information does not align should promptly report the Aadhaar mismatch details to the District Education Officer through their respective school principals. It is essential that the Director of Government Examinations, Mr. D., ensures that the student's Aadhaar is linked to their bank account and funds are transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Devananda Reddy has provided this information.
The selected student will be granted an annual sum of Rs. 12,000/-, provided that they open a joint savings bank account with their parents in either SBI or any nationalized bank that offers a core banking facility/ESC facility.
Any accounts other than savings bank accounts will be rejected when the scholarship is disbursed.
Every selected student must register and submit their application on the National Scholarship Portal, which can be accessed at www.scholarships.gov.in. Once the application is successfully submitted on the portal, the concerned Institute Nodal Officer (INO) must verify the application through their INO Login.
Subsequently, the application should be verified by the respective District Nodal Officer (DNO) through their DNO Login.
Failure to complete these verification steps will result in the student being ineligible for the scholarship indefinitely.
The student should regularly check their student login on the National Scholarship Portal to verify the payment status. The status updates are only available in the student login section.
The Ministry of Education, New Delhi will approve the scholarship amount and forward the list to the SBI, New Delhi for the disbursement of the scholarship through the Aadhaar Enabled Payment System.

Hello,
The NMMS is targeted at students who belong to the weaker section of the economy and studying between class 9 to class 12. There are no specific quotas for various categories like General or OBC. However, each state/UT is allocated the number of scholarships based on population data for students of ages between 11 and 18 years.
Annually, about 1,00,000 scholarships are awarded nationwide. General category students are eligible if they meet the income ceiling (family income should not exceed 3,50,000 per year) and achieve the required academic performance, typically scoring 55% or more in the previous exams.

Hi
The NMMS ( National Means cum Merit Scholarship ) exam has minimum passing criteria for different categories including BCD caste considered under reserved categories like OBC , SC or ST in different states .
Here's general Passing Criteria :
MAT ( Mental Ability Test ) : Minimum 40% marks for General and around 32-35% for reserved categories .
SAT ( Scholastic Aptitude Test ) : Same minimum percentage as MAT .
For students under reserved categories like BCD caste, the overall pass percentage is usually reduced to 32-35% in each paper (state-dependent). Additionally:
Both MAT and SAT need to be passed individually . A combined score meeting the state’s cutoff is required for eligibility .
Hope this helps you .
