The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) has released the NMMS Chandigarh Answer Key 2025 on December 9, 2025. The NMMS Chandigarh Answer Key 2025 can be found online on the official website of SCERT, UT Chandigarh, www.scertchd.edu.in. Students must carefully go through the answer key and in case of any doubt they have the right to raise objection against the NMMS Chandigarh Answer Key 2025 by December 17, 2025. The NMMS scheme is sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India. Only class 8th students can register for the NMMS Chandigarh scholarship. Under this scheme, a total of 1,00,00 students will be selected at national level for National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship 2025. Students are selected based on their performance in the NMMS Chandigarh examination. After that, selected candidates receive an amount of Rs 12,000 per annum from class 9 to 12th. The main objective of NMMS Chandigarh is to help the weaker sections of the society and encourage students to continue their studies till Class 12th. NMMS Chandigarh Eligibility Criteria 2025-26
Students seeking to appear for the NMMS Chhattisgarh exam must check their eligibility to apply for the same. A student must have attained a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in their Class 7 examination. This criterion is relaxable by 5% for SC/ST students. Also, students with parental income not exceeding Rs 3,50,000 per annum are eligible for this scholarship.
