How to Fill out the AMU School Application Form?

• Step 1: Visit the AMU website and log in using your Email and password.

• Step 2: Fill out the form using the Dashboard.

• Step 3: Candidates can use the single registration to apply to multiple courses.

• Step 4: Every candidate must register separately to get the unique usernames and passwords to access the dashboard to fill out and track the application forms.

• Step 5: In case the students forget or lose their password to log in, they can use the “Forgot Password” option, which will be sent to their registered email ID.

• Step 6: Students must fill out their profile carefully and review it before saving and submitting it for editing or updating later.

• Step 7: Candidates must keep the following documents ready before filling out the AMU school application form.

  • Mobile number and email address.

  • Qualifying exam details

  • Scanned copy of the candidate's thumb impression (left-hand thumb Impression), signature, and coloured Photo with a white background in JPG format ONLY. The file size of each should be less than 200KB

AMU Admission Procedure for Class I

• Age Limit: The candidate must be between 6 and 8 years as of March 31, 2026. The student must be born between April 1, 2018, and March 31, 2020 (both days inclusive).

• Admission is done through a draw of lots.

AMU Admission Procedure for Class VI and IX

• Age Limit for Class VI: Candidates must be aged between 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2026, i.e., he/she must be born between April 1, 2014, to March 31, 2016 (including both days).

• Age limit for Class IX: The candidate must be born between April 1, 2011, to March 31, 2013 (including both days). He/she must be aged between 13 to 15 years as of March 31, 2026.

• Students must pass class V from a registered and recognised school by a competent government authority or be affiliated with an approved Public Examination Board for AMU admission to class VI. Whereas the students applying for class IX must pass class VIII.

• The AMU admission for classes VI and IX will be through the written test and interview, carrying 85 and 15 marks, respectively.

• Candidates will be called for an interview based on the written test performance of at least 40%.

• The AMU Admission test paper syllabus for classes VI and IX will be prescribed by the CBSE/NCERT.

• Candidates will have a duration of 2 hours to write the admission test.

Eligibility Criteria For AMU School Admission 2026

• Students must be Indian nationals only

• Admission applies to classes I, VI, and IX only.

• A few admission seats are earmarked for NRI children and foreign nationals (they should refer to the relevant supplement/guide for them).

The following are the important documents required for AMU school admission.

• PAN card/ Aadhar card/ Passport/ Bank passbook with photo ID/ Student photo ID card issued by the last school the candidate attended, along with two self-attested photocopies.

• Special category supporting documents claimed in the AMU school application form.

• Aadhar card/Voter's ID/ Driving license/ Passport/ Bank passbook/ PAN card with photo ID/ service photo ID card/ Arms license issued by the Central/State government of both parents (with two self-attested photocopies).

• TEN recent front-facing colour photographs with a white background, sized 2.5 * 3.0 cms.

• Marks sheets/ grade sheet of qualifying exam (with four self-attested copies applicable for classes VI & IX admission.

• Birth certificate issued under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act by Municipal corporation/ municipality only (along with two self-attested photocopies).
