AMU School Admission Form 2025: Application Process, Dates & Eligibility

Aligarh Muslim University offers admission to Classes 1, 6 and 9 only. The school will begin the AMU School admission in March 2025. Students can visit the official website, amucontrollerexams.com to fill out the admission form. Admission to AMU school is granted based on the student's performance in the entrance examination. Shortlisted students will be called for an interview/ counselling round.

Steps to Fill Out AMU School Admission Form

Admission to AMU school is done online. The steps to fill out the AMU admission form include submission of rthe egistration form and application form. Check out the steps to fill out the AMU school admission form below:

AMU School Registration Process

• A single registration is enough for applying to different courses.

• Students must register themself online on the official website, amucontrollerexams.com.

• Students must register as a new user first and provide their correct email address.

• After that, the username and password will be sent to the registered email address.

• Students must update their student profile by providing their information, such as student name, email ID, Aadhaar number, parents name etc.

• Once the registration process is done and student profile is updated, they can move to the next step.

AMU School Class Selection Process

• Select the class for which the students want to get admission i.e., classes 1, 6 or 9.

• Select the medium (English/Urdu) the student wishes to appear in the admission test.

• Select the category under which the student is applying i/e/, general or NRI/Foreign national.

• Provide the details of the last qualifying examination, year of passing and last school attended by the candidate.

AMU School Application Process

• Visit the official website, amucontrollerexams.com.

• Go to “Admissions” and click on “Guide to Admissions”.

• On the next page, click on the “Application Form”.

• Login to the student portal, using email id and password.

• Fill out the application form by providing the required information.

• Upload the required documents.

• Pay the requisite test fee/processing charges.

• Submit the form and print it out for the future reference.

• Scanned copy of birth certificate

• Scanned copy of marksheet from the previous class (if applicable)

• Scanned copy of documents supporting claim under special category (if any)

AMU School Admission Fee Structure

Students applying for the AMU school must pay the requisite admission fee along with the admission form documents. Below, we have provided a table with AMU school admission fees for up to class 10.

AMU School Admission Test

Students who want to get admission to the Aligarh Muslim University must appear in the AMU admission test. The school will issue the admit card on the official website, amucontrollerexams.com. Only the eligible students and those who qualified in the admission test will be admitted to the AMU School.

• The AMU school admission test will be OMR based.

• Students must reach the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

• The school will not entertain any students’ request for re-evaluation/ re-totaling.

• There will be no negative marking in the entrance examination.

• After the examination, the school will display the answer key on the website, amucontrollerexams.com.

Documents Required for Admission after Entrance Test

After the entrance examination, student must visit the school with original documents.

• Aadhaar card/ passport/ PAN card/ Bank Passbook

• Passport size photographs (10 pieces of size: 2.5x3.0 cms)

• Documents in support of special categories as claimed in application form (if applicable)

• Birth certificate (2 copies)

• 2 Transfer certificate (for admission to class 6 and 9)

• Marksheet of examination qualification from previous school (for class 6 and 9 students)

AMU School Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Only Indian national students can apply for the admission to AMU schools.

• Admission is open for classes I, 6, and 9 students only.

• Few admission seats are earmarked for NRI children and foreign nationals (they should refer to the relevant supplement/guide for them).
