Guidelines for Entering Marks for Exams on Shala Darpan

  • Ensure that the marks for students are entered in the "Parinaam" tab of Shala Darpan to prepare the Progress Report.

  • All available columns must be filled out, with no column left blank except for students who were admitted before the Half Yearly exam due to late result declaration for class 10th (NIOS or RSOS or Supplementary).

  • Absent students should be marked as -1, while students on medical leave should be marked as -2.

  • Vocational subject marks should be entered along with the annual examination marks.

  • Students in classes 9 and 11 must appear in the annual examination, with re-exams only held in case of medical reasons.

  • A minimum of 36% marks in each subject is required to pass for classes 9 and 11.

  • Final results are only declared for students who have participated in at least one unit test, half-yearly, and annual examination, or two unit tests and the annual examination.

  • Students who have never appeared in the annual examination will not have results generated.

  • Grace marks are allowed in a maximum of two subjects, with 5% in one subject and 2% in each of the other two subjects. However, grace marks are not applicable in cases of medical benefits.

  • Results can be viewed in draft mode before being locked by clicking the "Verify" button, after which no further changes can be made.

  • An "Un-Verify" option is available for making changes before re-verifying and locking the result.

  • A "Green Sheet" consolidates class and section results, while a separate module is provided for class/stream rankings.
