The CBSE Class 12 English core and English elective examination 2026 was conducted on March 12, 2026. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) held the Class 12 English exam for English core (301) and English elective (001) from 10:30 to 1:30 pm. After the examination, many educators conduct live sessions to discuss and solve all three question paper sets (Set 1, Set 2, and Set 3). These CBSE Class 12 answer keys will help students to know the exact answers to MCQs.
As per the CBSE Class 12 English paper analysis, "the students who are fully prepared can score above 90 per cent; at the same time, even average students can easily score above 75 per cent,” Khushboo Arya, PGT English at JAIN International Residential School (JIRS), Bengaluru, said.
The Reading Comprehension (Section A) answers are provided in the answer key. The descriptive answers in Sections B and C are evaluated based on content, expression, and accuracy. The unofficial CBSE 12th answer keys can only help students understand whether their answers are conceptually correct; the final marks depend entirely on CBSE’s official evaluation process. It is important to note that the board does not release an official answer key for the CBSE Class 12 examination.
The CBSE Class 12 English question paper 2026 includes sections on reading comprehension, literature, and writing. Students are required to carefully go through the question paper and attempt all questions accordingly. After the exam, CBSE Class 12 English answer discussions are available on YouTube and various educational portals through the links provided in this article.
