Wards of serving and retired Army personnel are given top priority. Children coming on transfer from other APS or recognised schools can be admitted at any time during the year, subject to seat availability.
Civilian admissions are allowed only if seats remain vacant after accommodating all Army wards. The overall strength of civilian students must not exceed 10% of class capacity (may extend to 15% with prior approval). NRI and foreign students can apply with valid documents such as a Visa, a Passport, and character certificates.
Students passing Class X from the same APS are given preference. Stream allotment (Science, Commerce, Humanities) depends on merit and availability of seats. Meeting the minimum marks criteria does not guarantee admission.
No written test is conducted. Admission is based on age eligibility and seat availability.

Direct admissions without a TC are allowed only up to Class VI with an affidavit and suitability test.
Class strength ideally should not exceed 40 students as per CBSE norms.
For Class XI stream allocation, meeting cut-off marks is essential but not a guarantee for admission.
