CBSE Class 10 mathematics exam (Standard and Basic) is scheduled for February 17, 2026. It will conclude at 1:30 pm. On the day of the exam, many educational platforms and coaching institutes will release unofficial CBSE 12th maths answer keys and video solutions. These help students estimate their marks early, before the CBSE 10th result is available.
The CBSE mathematics standard and mathematics basic examination will be conducted on the same day, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Once the exams are over, we will provide the answer key for both subjects here. CBSE also releases the official marking scheme along with the results in May. Students can find the 2025-26 sample Class 10 CBSE marking scheme on the official website.
CBSE 10th Maths Answer Key 2026
The board does not provide the 10th maths answer key for Class 10. Instead, some private institutes and YouTube channels release the CBSE Class 10 maths answer key just after the exam. Students can check their answers for section A and other parts here directly, once they are released.
Unofficial Class 10 CBSE Maths Answer Key 2026
The CBSE 10th maths question paper is divided into five sections. Section A consists of 20 multiple-choice and assertion–reason questions, with each question carrying 1 mark, making a total of 20 marks. Section B includes 5 very short answer questions of 2 marks each, contributing 10 marks.
Section C has 6 short-answer questions, each worth 3 marks, for a total of 18 marks. Section D contains 4 long answer questions carrying 5 marks each, amounting to 20 marks. Finally, Section E comprises 3 case-based questions of 4 marks each, adding up to 12 marks. Altogether, the paper has 38 questions for a total of 80 marks.
