The Bihar Board matric exam paper will carry a weightage of 100 marks total, with 20 marks allocated for internal assessment. The remaining 80 marks will be divided into two sections: an OMR-based objective test and a descriptive answer-type question paper. As per the BSEB Class 10 Hindi exam pattern 2026, the written exam will consist of a total of 100 marks.
The Hindi question paper will be divided into two sections: OMR-based and long-answer questions.
Students will have to answer 50 questions in Section-A which will have a total of 100 questions. Only 50 need to be answered. Each question will carry 1 mark.
Section B of the Hindi paper will have descriptive answer-type questions. Students have to answer 6 questions in this section.
The BSEB 10th Maths exam will be of a duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes. The question paper will be divided into an OMR-based test and short and long answer-type questions.
Section A consists of 100 objective-type questions, out of which students are required to answer any 50 questions. If more than 50 questions are attempted, only the first 50 responses will be evaluated. Each question carries 1 mark.
In Section B, students will find 30 short-answer questions, of which they must attempt any 15 questions, with each question carrying 2 marks. There will also be 8 long-answer questions asked, out of which any 4 questions must be answered, with each question carrying 5 marks.
The BSEB 10th Science paper will carry 80 marks weightage. 20 marks are reserved for practicals.
The 80-mark written exam will be of a duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes.
The BSEB 10th Science question paper booklet will be divided into: Section A and Section B.
Section A will consist of 80 objective-type questions, out of which 40 questions are to be answered. Each question will carry 1 mark each.
Section B will contain 24 questions, divided equally among Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (8 questions from each subject). Students must answer 4 questions from each subject, with each question carrying 2 marks.
Also, there will be 6 long-answer questions: 2 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Long-answer questions in Physics will be of 6 marks each, while those in Chemistry and Biology will carry 5 marks each. It is compulsory to answer one question from each subject.
The Bihar Board 10th Social Science paper will carry 80 marks for the written exam.
The question booklet will be divided into two sections: Section A and Section B.
Section A consists of 80 objective-type questions, out of which students must attempt 40 compulsory questions.
If more than 40 are answered, only the first 40 responses will be evaluated. Each question carries 1 mark. Students have to darken the correct circle on the OMR answer sheet using a black or blue ballpoint pen.
Section B includes Short answer type questions from 5 subjects of Social Science. Each question will carry 2 marks each
History: 6 questions - Students must answer any 3 questions.
Political Science: 4 questions - Students must answer any 2 questions.
Economics: 4 questions - Students must answer any 2 questions.
Geography: 6 questions - Students must answer any 2 questions.
Disaster Management: 4 questions - Students must answer any 2 questions.
Apart from the above, there will be 8 Long answer-type questions. Each one will carry 4 marks. Students will have to answer Long answer type questions each from the given subjects: History, Political Science, Economics, Geography.
The Bihar Board matric English paper will carry 100 marks weightage. The exam will be conducted for 3 hours and 15 minutes duration. An extra 15 minutes are provided for reading the question paper.
In Section A, students will have to answer 50 questions out of the 100 questions. The first 50 answers will be evaluated in case more than 50 questions are answered by any student.
Section B will contain 11 descriptive questions.
The Bihar Board Class 10 Eco paper will consist of 100 marks.
The written exam will be conducted for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Section A will be an OMR-based test wherein students will have to answer 50 questions out of 100 questions.
In Section B, students will find 30 short-answer questions, of which they need to attempt any 15 questions. Each short-answer question carries 2 marks. In addition, there will be 8 long-answer questions, and students are required to attempt any 4 questions. Each long-answer question will carry 5 marks.
