• Students should be permanent residents of Odisha.

• Candidates seeking admission during the 2026-27 academic session must be continuing/ passed/ continuing in the respective classes during the 2025-26.

• Students passing out of schools running under the state government/ ICSE/ CBSE/ Odia medium private institutions are eligible for taking admission in OAVs. They must possess a Certificate of Recognition (CoR) from the state government concerned for the class and academic session last studied.

OAV Entrance Exam Application Form 2026

The BSE Odisha provides two options for the OAV entrance exam application login, i.e., by parents or by OAVs. Before proceeding with OAVET registration, parents or OAV principals have to go through all instructions and guidelines published by the board and the Odisha Adarshaa Vidyalaya Sangathan. They must check and verify the list of OAV and vacant list for direct admissions and lateral entries, based on which the registration can be done. OAV Entrance Exam Pattern 2026

OAV Entrance Exam Admit Card 2026

The BSE Odisha board or the OAVs will release the OAVET admit card in December 2025. Students can visit the official website at bseodisha.ac.in or oav.edu.in to download the admit card in online mode. They need to enter the details like name, father’s name, class, registration number, etc., to download the admit card. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to write the examination.

The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan will declare the OAV entrance exam result in February 2026.
