    JNVST Class 11 Lest Admission Form 2026-27

    The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) conducted the JNV Selection Test for Class 11 on February 7, 2026, except for Jharkhand and West Bengal states. The JNVST exam for both these states will be held on March 15, 2026. The JNV Class 11th admit card was released on January 7, 2026. The NVS 11th results are expected to be released in May/June 2026. Candidates will be able to download the results from the official websites, navodaya.gov.in and cbseitms.nic.in.

    Admission to NVS Class 11 for the 2026-27 academic session is granted based on a Class 11 Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST).     Eligibility for NVS Class 11 (LEST) Admission 2026-27

    To apply for admission to NVS Class 11, candidates are required to fulfil the following criteria:

    • Admissions are offered only to the vacant seats in JNVs during the academic year.
    • The candidate must study Class 10 during the 2025-26 academic session from a recognised school affiliated with CBSE or any other state board.
    • Students who have already passed Class 10 in a previous academic session before 2025-26 are not eligible.
    • The candidate must be studying in a school located in the same district where the Jawahar Navodaya is situated.
    • Candidate must be born between June 1, 2009, and July 31, 2011.
    • Only Indian nationals currently studying in Class 10 in India are eligible to apply.

    How to apply for NVS Class 11 Admission 2026-27

    Candidates are required to follow the instructions below to submit the admission form for Class 11:

    • Step 1: Interested students can visit the NVS application portal, navodaya.gov.in.
    • Step 2: Candidates must read the prospectus carefully and ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria.
    • Step 3: Keep the scanned copies of photographs, parents’ signatures, and the candidate’s signature in JPG format ready for upload.
    • Step 4: Fill in the required details like state, district of residence and study, Aadhaar number, etc., accurately.
    • Step 5: Candidates are allowed to opt for a maximum of 2 streams in order of preference and choose up to 3 JNVs per stream. Streams offered are Science, Commerce, Humanities and Vocational.
    • Step 6: After that, submit the form online along with the scanned copy of the photograph and signatures.
    • Step 7: Candidates can approach the nearest JNV for assistance if needed. Make sure to use the correct information since the submitted data will be considered final.
    • Step 8: A 2-day correction window will be provided after the last date of submission.
    • Step 9: Verification of residence, age, category certificates, etc., will be done for selected students before the confirmation of admission.

    Navodaya Class 11 Exam Pattern 2026-27

    • The selection test will be of two and a half hours duration from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
    • There will be 5 sections with only objective-type questions.
    • The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
    • Only one mark will be given for every correct answer.
    • There will be no negative marking.
    • As per government regulations, “Divyang students” will be granted an extra duration of 50 minutes.
