TN 10th Syllabus 2026 - The Directorate of Government Examinations publishes the TN SSLC syllabus 2026 for all subjects, including Maths, English, Science, Social Science, and more. Students can download the Tamil Nadu Class 10 syllabus and use it as a reference while preparing for the TN SSLC exams. The board will publish the 2026 TN 10th syllabus soon and will be made available on the official website at dge.tn.gov.in. We will also provide the direct link to download the updated syllabus in this article soon after its release.

For the academic year 2026, the board released the Tamil Nadu Class 10 time table, and the examination was conducted from March 11 to April 6, 2026. The Tamil Nadu SSLC syllabus for 2026 outlines the chapters and topics for each subject, along with the distribution of marks. Students must review the exam pattern and mark allocation from the Tamil Nadu 10th syllabus for 2026. Since the question papers are strictly based on this syllabus, students need to adhere to it carefully. Below, we have provided the syllabus based on the previous academic year, which will be updated once the latest version is released.
Note: The Tamil Nadu board has not released the TN Class 10th syllabus 2026. Below, we have provided previous years' syllabi for reference.

TN 10th Exam Pattern 2026
DGE releases the exam pattern of 10th-class exams along with the TN 10th syllabus. Each exam will be held for 100 marks, and 2 hours and 30 minutes are allocated to write the exam. However, 15 minutes are given extra for the reading of the question paper and Verification of Particulars by the candidates.
To pass the SSLC exam, candidates need to score a minimum of 35 marks in each subject. However, for optional language papers such as Telugu, Arabic, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, French and Urdu, passing marks are not prescribed. Subject-wise exam pattern is explained below:
