For Classes 2 to 8, admissions follow a priority category and offline lottery system, with no entrance tests or exams. If a child wishes to apply for KV Class 1 admission 2025-26, they must be 6 years of age by March 31, 2025. The child born on April 1 is also qualified to apply for the same
Parents and guardians should be aware that there is no age restriction for Class 11 admission if the applicant applies for KV Pune admission 2025-26 in the year they finished Class 10.
In the case of special needs children, the KV principal can relax the age limit by two years.
Also to be kept in mind is that there will be no upper or lower age restriction for Class 12th Kendriya Vidyalaya admissions in 2025-26. But it is also mandatory that after passing Class 11, there should not be a break in the students' continuous academic year.

KV Pune Admission 2025-26 Registration Process

Kendriya Vidyalaya registrations are based on the available seats for all classes except Class 1. The KV Pune registration forms for Class 1 are released online, while those for other classes will be available at the respective KV schools. To be considered for admissions, students must complete the KV admission forms 2024 and submit them by the deadline.

Steps to apply for Kendriya Vidyalaya Pune Admission 2025-26 online

To register for KV Pune admission 2025-26, students should visit kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
Then click the registration link. On the screen will appear the KV Pune application form.
Complete the form as instructed.
Upload the recent photo and signature, and then click the submit button.
Attach all required documents to the completed application form after taking a printout.
At last, they should submit their Kendriya Vidyalaya Pune Admission 2024 forms to their respective KV campuses.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Pune admission 2025-26 Selection Process

For Class 1	The lottery draws for the 25.5% reserved seats under RTE (Right to Education). The remaining seats of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Pune are filled as per the priority category system.
For classes 2 to 8	Admission will be given based on the Priority category system. If applications exceed the number of seats, a lottery system will be followed in each category, including the single girl child quota.
For Class 9	Based on the priority category system There is a standard admission test for KV admission Class 9, followed by the declaration of merit list. But this year, this test has been cancelled.
For classes 10 and 12	Kendriya Vidyalaya 2025-26 offers admission for Class 10 and 12 students based on the number of vacant seats out of the total number of seats in each class.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Pune Admission 2025-26 Fees

Each student in Class 1-12 is required to pay the Kendriya Vidyalaya pune fees. Girls students are not subject to a tuition fee by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The tuition fee is waived for boys until Class 8, girls until Class 8, SC/ST students and KVS employees' children. Kendriya Vidyalaya fees 2025-26 are also waived forwards of parents with BPL cards.

Students must bring many documents when applying for Kendriya Vidyalaya Pune admission 2024. These documents must be carried out for admission to be granted.

	A certificate of retirement for uniformed Defense personnel.
	For grandchildren of Member of Parliament and PSU employees, proof of relationship certificate of retirement for uniformed Defence employees of either child’s parents with the Hon’ble MP or PSU employee will be needed.
