There is no age restriction for KV Class 11 admission, provided the student is seeking admission in the year of passing the Class 10 examination.
There will be no upper & lower age limit for admission to KVS Class 12, provided there is no break in the continuous study of the student after passing Class 11.
Kendriya Vidyalaya School Bangalore accepts admission forms for class 1 in online mode, but KV admission forms 2026-27 for other classes will be available offline. Only the offline forms can be collected and submitted to the individual schools. The admission test is only available for students in Class 9. Admission forms for Kendriya Vidyalayas in Bangalore will be available online at robangalore.kvs.gov.in and kvsangathan.nic.in.
One must provide the required documents after successfully submitting the KV Bangalore admission form.
There will be fresh admissions in KVS Bangalore Class 1, and the number of seats per section has been set at 40. As a result, the seats for Kendriya Vidyalaya Bangalore admission 2026-27 are distributed as follows: As per RTE provisions, 10 seats (out of 40) in Class 1 in each section are to be filled (25% of seats), and these 10 seats will be filled by lot from all applicants of SC/ ST/ EWS/ BPL/ OBC (non-creamy layer) who are residents of the neighbourhood/ differently-abled taken together. The remaining seats will be filled using the current Priority category system. Any shortage in the number of seats allotted for SC/ ST candidates would be made up by accepting SC/ ST applicants.
Admissions to KV in Bangalore are subject to the number of available seats in each class.
The priority category approach will be used for KV Bangalore admissions in 2026-27. For enrollment in these classes, no admission test will be conducted.
