To get Kendriya Vidyalaya admission in Hyderabad in class 1st, the student must attain the age of 6. There is an age limit for admissions in Class 1st to 10th, however, there is no defined age limit for admission to Class 11 and 12 provided there has been no break in the continuous study of the student after passing the prior class. To get class 11 admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya Hyderabad, students must attain some minimum marks in their class 10th. Below are the minimum marks given for all three streams.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Hyderabad Admission 2025 for Class 1 is made through online mode, whereas from Class 2nd onwards, Kendriya Vidyalaya Hyderabad admission form will be available in offline mode. Below are the steps provided for admission in class 1st.

Step 1 - Visit the official registration website of KVS, kvsonlineadmission.in and click on “Apply online".
Step 2 - Fill the requisite details of the student seeking admission in class 1st.
Step 3 - Submit the form along with the required documents listed below.

Documents required for Kendriya Vidyalaya Hyderabad Admission 2025-26

Birth Certificate and proof of residence.

Passport size photo

Category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC)

EWS/BPL certificate issued by competent state authorities.

Medical certificate (for PWD)

For children of State/ Central government employees, ex-servicemen- proof of relationship with parents and a certificate showing the past 7 years transfer.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Hyderabad 2025-26 - Admission Process

In the table below, the admission process from Classes 1 to 12 is given. Admissions in the rest of the classes except class 1, are subject to the availability of seats.

Class 1	10 Seats (out of 40 seats) in Class 1 per section are to be filled as per RTE Provisions (25% of seats) and these 10 seats will be filled by draw of lots from all applications of SC/ ST/ EWS/ BPL/ OBC (non-creamy layer) who are the resident of neighbourhood/ differently-abled taken together. The remaining seats are to be filled as per the existing Priority category system. The shortfall in the seats reserved for SC/ ST, if any shall be made by admitting SC/ ST applicants.
Class 2 to 8	There will be no admission test for classes 2 to 8. Seats will be allotted through a priority category allotment system.
Class 9	Class 9 admission through test. About test: Questions will be asked in Hindi, English, Science and Social Science, Maths The question paper will be of 100 marks, where 20 marks are allotted for each subject. A merit list of successful students will be declared. The minimum qualifying marks are - 33% for general and 25% for the reserved categories.
Class 10	Admission will be done based on vacant seats and transfer only. The student must be from CBSE affiliated school
Class 11	Admission to class 11 will be done based on the availability of seats. Students must attain the minimum qualifying marks for the desired stream.
Class 12	Admissions are subject to vacancy and transfer.

KV Sangathan accepts fees every quarter. Girls, SC/ST, and Children of KV employees are exempted from paying fees. However, they have to pay Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN), Computer fees, etc. Kendriya Vidyalaya Fees are collected between the 1st to 15th of every quarter.
