Kendriya Vidyalaya Hyderabad 2019 - Kendriya Vidyalayas from the region have released the second KV admission list for admission to class 1 on April 9, 2019 their official website and on the notice board. The links for the same are given below. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan had started the registrations for class 1 students for admissions to KV Hyderabad and the last date to apply was March 19, 2019. The forms could be filled in online mode while for class 2 and above (except class 11) the registration forms will be filled in offline mode from April 2, 2019. Registrations for class 11 will open immediately after the declaration of result of 10th class exams. Parents of the Candidates will have to apply with registration form of Kendriya Vidyalaya 2019 Hyderabad. The KV Sangathan released the notification for admissions in Kendriya Vidyalaya Hyderabad 2019 on February 5, 2019. Class 9 KV admissions will be conducted on the basis of an admission test while for other classes the admissions are held on the basis of priority category system and lottery system.

Parents and students are advised to go through the criteria for admission in KV Hyderabad before applying. The eligibility criteria include the minimum and maximum age requirement for admission in KV for different classes.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Hyderabad 2019 - Age limit for class 1 to 10
Minimum age on March 31, 2019, in which admission is sought
Maximum age on March 31, 2019, in which admission is sought
There is no age restriction for admission to Class 11 provided the student is seeking admission in the year of passing Class 10 examination.
There will be no upper and lower age limit for admission to class 12 provided there has been no break in the continuous study of the student after passing class 11.
The maximum age limit for differently abled children by the Principal can be relaxed by two years.
Parents and students must note that a child must be 5 years old as on March 31, 2019 for admission to class 1. A child born on April 1 will also be considered for admission to class 1.

Candidates must follow the steps listed below to apply for Kendriya Vidyalaya Hyderabad admission for 2019.
Go to the official registration website of KVS and click on “Apply online"
Candidates will be asked to fill the Name of the Child, Parents, Name, Date of Birth, Email id, Mobile Number, Residence address in the column mentioned in the application form.
Fill the form correctly and submit the form to the respective KV centres along with the lists of documents mentioned below.
For class 1, birth certificate and residence proof.
For children of State/ Central government employees, ex-servicemen- proof of relationship with parents and a certificate showing the past 7 years transfer.
For SC/ ST/ OBC category of candidates - caste certificate has to be submitted
For students under BPL (Below Poverty Line), BPL certificates issued by competent state authorities.
Students have to pay the admission fee of Rs 25 and re-admission fee of Rs 100, tuition and computer fees for different classes for boys are different. Fee for Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi is common to all the girls and boys students from 1 to 12. However, girl students from class 1 to 12 are exempted from paying the tuition fee. Students belonging to SC/ST category, children of KVS employee, and armed forces or paramilitary forces, children of parents having BPL card are exempted from paying the tuition fee.

1st phase - 10 Seats (out of 40 seats) in Class 1 per section are to be filled as per RTE Provisions (25% of seats) and these 10 seats will be filled by draw of lots from all applications of SC/ ST/ EWS/ BPL/ OBC (non-creamy layer) who are the resident of neighbourhood/ differently abled taken together.
2nd phase - Remaining seats are to be filled as per the existing Priority category system. The shortfall in the seats reserved for SC/ ST, if any shall be made good admitting SC/ ST applicants.
Class 2 to 8
No admission test is conducted for classes 2 to 8. The allotment of seats is done through priority category allotment system.
An admission test will be conducted on the subjects as Hindi, English, Science and Social Science, after which a merit list will be declared.
Marking Scheme- 100 marks, with 20 marks each for each subject of the exam. The minimum qualifying percentage- 33%, and 25% for the reserved categories.
Admission will be done based on vacancy and transfer. The candidate must be from CBSE affiliated school and a minimum of 6.5 CGPA in class 9 exams
Admission will be done based on the minimum marks scored by the candidate in class 10 exams for the following stream:
Science stream: Minimum 60% marks in aggregate of all subjects.
Commerce: Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all subjects.
Humanities: All successful students of KV if declared successful in class 10 exam.
Admissions are subject to vacancy and transfer. Eligibility criteria is that the candidate must be from CBSE affiliated school and must have scored 55% minimum in class 11.
There is a fixed quota of 40 seats per class for admission in KV each year. This quota can be pushed to a limit of 50 in case of transfer students. For class 10 and 12, the number of seats offered for admission depends upon the number of vacant seats.
